Yeah, precisely the point about self-insertion that I had been alluding to in earlier comments. I mean it really just is a fetish/fantasy at the end of the day. So long as one doesn't self-insert, you won't get so emotionally attached/invested in the game, and therefore won't feel any kind of abject feelings/emotions arise as a result of playing said NTR game.But I don't self insert into the video game I'm playing so its probably a different overall feeling
But other players, particularly those who let's say are dealing with a bad break-up IRL or don't have as much presence of mind/more sensitive and take things at face value and willfully self-insert themselves in the game, are probably going to have a harder time delineating between fantasy and reality because they take things on a more personal level when playing the game. This has happened to some users on the Zone before from what I've seen in certain gaming threads and their reviews on particular games.
