Engraved Pleasure - This first time game by a unknown developer is a knockout. Yep, that crap pretty much killed the game for me. Art is OK, and the story up to that was just average imo. So once you get that bit of info its just done for me.

Check out Boy Hero Ken and Scar of Summer if you haven't. NOt a whole lot of games have great overworld sprites AND CG scenes.

My only real complain about the game is like you said the relationship between the FMC and the MC, is not well developed until the very end (happy ending), i actually hope there is a sequel because to me the whole game feels almost like a long prologue when seen from their relationship.

As for the FMC and her personality and corruption you have to remember this is a fantasy medieval setting with a strong class system, some things are heavily ingrained.

I'd totally down for some medieval knight vs squire action, commoner vs noble, "if you don't suck my cock I'll kill your family" kind of story line.

That's not what happened here. She had to listen to him because she thought she would lose her powers if she didn't. She never tries to research this. She never tries to consult other mages or whatever about this. She just accepts it. For example, why couldn't she just kick his fucking ass, rape him? All they needed to do was have sex right? A non-Jap person would totally do this. In Japan, women are too tame and that's sometimes too boring for me. Japanese can't write strong women because their women are weak. Compared to the rabid American women feminists who would've been a much more fun character to break.

As for her "past", I don't really mind. It wasn't a turnoff for me because even-though she's "used", she didn't portray that in the beginning of the game. I basically ignored the last few h panels and the game was still played as if she was unbroken. Sure she's not reacting to cock like a virgin, but she showed aversion. That's good enough.

But then the mystery gets uncovered and it became Kubel. By that I mean its the same scene over and over with the same guy, for like 30+ of scenes. Except Kubel is slightly better because at least there's element of corruption. Here the FMC is already fully tainted.

I can keep playing if the depravity escalate further. But nope, 1/4 the game you already got to essentially the entire H Scenes. Its just a variation of positions and text, with the same guy, same scenario every time.

That is indeed new to me. I'll give it a try even with the negative reviews above. At least it's mystery NTR not that many to choose from
