I dont think he milks his patreon. The way I interpret it, milking is giving false promises and releasing bits and scraps just to make sure he retains his patrons. He has been very transparent about not having regular updates and all his patrons know that.

His philosophy is, "I'm doing this thing in my own time and I will do it however I like it, I have made the expectations clear and any support is welcome but not required"

And I really like that philosophy of doing things. He has a fulltime job, wife, and even kids. I am just happy that he is still working on the game(which is a lot more than what I can say about me cause I have none of the above and I still barely work on mine)

Ah I see. I dont really follow whats going on in the game's thread, but when I do go to the thread its the users there being all pissy at the dev. So I assumed he is on of those devs who just doesnt deliver on what they promise. It's a good game and I would love to see it completed.

Two of the Lune Team Bitters games have been MTL'd on sugoi visual novel. Found a few Nomad games on there as well. Gotta find the original games yourselves though. Most of them are quite old so they have low seeders or dead links.

I have some games of Team Bitter, Alice Soft and Lilith.
I can upload them if you're interested, but they are in Japanese and I don't know how to translate them.
What is the platform where it is very easy to upload games? At worst I can use a Google Drive account, but for a limited time.
I'll let someone else on the forum reupload the game and make a dedicated page for it if they can translate the game.

NGL I thought it was actually a pretty good year for NTR. Yea I did cry a bit earlier but I think im too spoilt. There are a lot of new devs that have started doing NTR as well.

I think west is getting better while Japan is starting to lag behind.

Finally the community is slowly growing. A lot has happened in the last 2 years. People just get older and develop new tastes. And it's good to come out and show yourself as fans. And where there is a buyer, there is also the dealer

In the long term, the Western world will trump Japan there, at least in terms of the quality of the games. I'm excited to see when the first good NTR game will be available in "Being a Dik" quality, or even better. The day will come at some point.

In Japan there is almost only hentai stuff there. To date, I haven't seen a single porn game from them that isn't hentai. There will certainly be others, but apparently rather rare. I wonder why that is? Do the laws there not allow anything different, or do the Japanese have such low standards when it comes to graphics and animation quality in porn games?

Having stuff animated is an artstyle choice. Not "downgrade". Same as I think that hollow knight looks better than cyberpunk, then another person might find tsumamigui 3 better looking than being a dik.

These games were good to great but unfortunately I don't think any of them are currently NTR masterpieces like NTRPG2, Henteria Chronicles 2 or Dark Hero Party.

Edit: Actually Hero Party Must Fall may end up being a masterpiece. That game has amazing writing so far.

NTR Knight was mea. But its pretty much what I expected from playing the demo. Art and animation were top notch and carried the game overall. No idea why they felt the need to add a dumbass lust curse mark to her to pretty much kill the story corruption. Blackmail, hypnosis all around. Oh well.

Gameplay was tedious, I hate the pass time by 1 hr crap. Games like Hentaria Chronicles do it the best. Just have 2 or 3 day/night phases, so im not just time skipping.

The biggest complaint other than the curse mark would be that you cant just lock her into a path with a guy. She ends up just whoring around till you get an ending with a guy.

BUt damn the animation was good. Just wish it had a story to match that even half aswell. lol

Haven't played it yet but despite the your claim that the story being meh, he's making bank. So there's that thought behind the dev's mind that his "plots" are good enough.

I wish the japanese consumers would criticize his plot and gameplay mechanics more. That way, he'll grow as a developer instead of just being stagnant.

One thing that I know is, animating alone is tedious.So, most of his task is really focused there.Maybe that's why he's opted to just do the bare minimum in the rest of his game projects. (although,the dev did try the phone mechanic in his previous game,which is a nice way to explore his potential)

Now that I think about it, I think youre right. But there are some good projects from the eastern side (outside jp) as well. So basically, everyone outside japan are doing better at the moment when it comes to this topic.

I think most of it is because of player feedback. People outside jp gets more criticized in proper channels, hence they get to improve there work significantly. Plus they are aware that they prefer to be different rather than staying on the traditional path.

was really enjoy Nebel Geisterjäger this year, it's quite hard to get used to but the hidden NTR menu system is really, i mean, reallyyy awesome.

It's not even that I'm trying to be a downer or disliking it for it's own sake. I genuinely enjoyed most games I played. It's just that there's always that sensation that a little more addition would've been perfect.

I guess maybe it's one reason why so many are so infatuated with sequels and future games. It's this hope or cope that the next one will be complete-er than the previous one.

I think that about the game NTR.CASE02 like everyday!! The game I feel has some much potential behind it. The concept is really good, but the art/scenes are a bit underwhelming and repetitive.

(i put this here but i am prepared to be dissapointed, i mean the NTR was completed in the previous game so i don´t see the appeal to see someone fallen fall lower. If she enjoys it from the beginning is weird as a NTR)

Finally i am happy to see that there are a lot of games using AI CG that don´t look like trash and are kinda nice in their own way so the genre is developing nicely
