. Even though it has some issues regarding the cliches it's using, like the heroine being a bit too naive or straight up dumb in some endings, I can forgive them since the game is pretty old.

The pacing regarding the corruption is near perfect for me, which is the thing I look forward the most in a NTR story. The antagonist is a piece of shit but the story manage to do a good job to give him a reason on why he does this. The MC isn't completely dumb as a rock for the most part which is good, he obviously still misses things because its a NTR story and the NTR needs to happen at some point but yeah.

This one of the very few games that made me go "oh wow that's good" and the only game that made me feel stuff. I can't self insert into characters but this is easily the closest a game managed to get me to feel for a MC, the build up and the pacing is just amazing. Bonus point for a specific alternative ending (n°07 I believe) that feels very realistic (for a porn game anyway) and made me wish it went on for longer.

Sorry for the wall of text, I just love this NTR game too much

Does anyone remember the game "girlfriend unleashed"? It was a NTS game with very high quality CGs and a very lovable and enthusiastic fmc, which unfortunately got abandoned.
It was first put on hold for months due to the dev dealing with personal stuff, then it finally recieved an update before the dev went missing again. This must have been a year or two ago.

I was just going to check the latest in that thread in case something had happened but it seems like the thread does not exist anymore, it's like it got scrubbed off the site for some reason.

Does anyone know what happened?

As a guy that enjoys sph content, i really don't get what you mean with that. Ntr games actually are rarely are about sph. Sure there are some circles that have it as necessary element, like Rain Shelter Frog or OreNoHut, but those are actually in minority. I'm actually having hard time to find decent sph content in ntr games. Especially japanese games are almost exclusively are about female corruption instead. Female corruption is what most people in this thread are after as well, even though most would prefer games with MC protag.
Western cuckold games focus on masochist MC and sph much more often, but those are so different ideologically that i even have hard time calling them NTR games.

A decent NTR will have the player form a connection with the protagonist. We should be rooting for the main couple and be upset when they break up. If the game doesn’t have you sympathize with the main couple, then it should be labeled netori. The mis-labeling is really bad and it doesn’t help when writers advertise netori stories as netorare and netori fans think they’re reading netorare (when they actually like netori).

If the bull is understanding, kind, and overall better person than the protagonist, without pulling underhanded tricks, then the heroine simply went to a better person. Now, you can still invoke feelings of jealousy even in this situation, but that requires good writing which makes you connect with the protagonist (and not cheer for the bull for winning fairly).

In this scenario, however, it seems protagonist is barely relevant in the story (which is sadly common in modern NTR). And the heroine herself is not a sympathetic character, either. So the game devolves into a basic cheating story, which doesn’t invoke the same jealous feelings as a classic NTR would. I’m going to play the game later and see if this is really the case, but I’ll be sad if I get burned with another false NTR story, lol.

I really miss older NTR works where protagonists would have monologs or daily scenes with the heroine to really drive home that romantic ”fated connection,” which is then painfully torn apart by the bull. A girlfriend who used to make bentos and call you everyday, gradually being stolen and molded by the bull to someone who treats you like an absolute stranger.

Nowadays, it’s too often protagonist is busy with work/impotent, wife gets lonely and starts experimenting, and boom NTR.

Extremely true. Newer entries just feel lazy, they don't build up the sense of "implication" as many of the previous goated games used to.

Do you have an recommendations here? I have a 2DCG list that I'm building out and want to some good recommendations.

I have a feeling that people that release NTR slop are salty vanilla fans that want to get revenge on every NTR fan by creating the most bland games possible. Let me get my tinfoil hat.
