For my personal taste, I like games like
Boy Hero Ken. Visualy, mixing some pixel only scenes with full character scenes works best. Having the ability to walk around doing the gameplay and finding scenes has teh best impact.
For teh gameplay, somthing that can be dont with one hand, using only the arrow key, shift, and ctrl, space keys is best. Combat should just be run over the mob and it dies etc. Or fetch quests that take you past areas that will have mystery NTR scenes happening. Sounds behind a door, or pixel sex that only me as a player can see since I have a bird's eye view.
NTR build up should be slow but not overly drawn out. Having a main girl with slow corruption and a couple sub heroins who get corrupted relatively fast just to have scenes at a good pace work best. The Guy who corupts the girl should be an irredemable piece of shit, and the more you can establish teh MC and the girl hating him before teh girl falls the better. And teh corruption cant have any cheat mechanics to speed it up. So mind control, aphrodisiacs, lust marks etc all a complete turn off.
And for me, the more choices in teh game, the more it takes me out of it. If I have to make choices to let the girl get corrupted, it just ruins it. The best NTR hit for me was in

The combination of gameplay to lul the player into not thinking about teh NTR and then hitting them from an unexpected angle is the best. You set up an expected NTR angle, then surprise them with somthing else. The player should make teh choice that would logically avoid teh NTR only to have it happen anyways.
And the most important thing, make somthing you like. Don't try to tailor it to every person complaining, as you will run yourself into a corner. Just don't mix types because you will never please everyone. Pick what you want to make and focus on that type of game and NTR.
