devs make a day and night system and then make a cool event at 1 specific hour and then it becomes copy pasting code from there so everything happens on that same timeslot.
I just got pissed at playing Sarah's house because the latest update made you watch movies for 10 nights in a row and the scene simply advanced from:
- arm in shoulders.
- arm in shoulders, to squeezing the hips.
- arm in shoulders, to squeezing the hips, to rubbing the breast.
- arm in shoulders, to squeezing the hips, to rubbing the breast, to groping the thighs.
- arm in shoulders, to squeezing the hips, to rubbing the breast, to groping the thighs, to face to face pose.

- face to face pose, to kissing, to grinding, her masturbating you.

meanwhile when I was playing it I seriously felt like the 12 days of christmass.

I'm replaying Yukari After Story from Rascou, now that there's a good translation, man this game is so peak. Highly recommend. I think the writing has the perfect pacing for this type of story, no overwritten H-scenes either and just enough flavor dialogue to really get a feel for the gradual corruption and Yukari giving into the boy.
Also, as people were saying earlier in the thread, the art in Rascou games is really good, expressive and the body type of the women is alluring.
I think the Rasbook texts/pictures you can read add a lot too, feels even more scandalous seeing them chat casually and become more warm with each other as it goes along.
I wish more NTR games had that feature, like the wife affectionately texting the guy behind their boyfriend's/husband back and you can see her start to thaw out and become more genuine with them. only issue is how would you communicate that, with Rascou it makes sense because it's being observed from a 3rd party (the son) or the identities are anonymous like in the repayment plan game.
Also, I've been going through the most recent VENUS game because I love ugly bastard/old man NTR. The scenes are really hot for that route. I love those angles in games where it shows the whole room in like a fixed cam position..just something about the voyeuristic element, and you can see their full bodies. What I also like is when the girl gradually shows affection to the bastard, and there's a good amount of that here. cuddling under the sheets, kissing, flavor dialogue that shows how she's genuinely loving the sex. Really good stuff.
Only thing is the MC is not in like an actual relationship with the girl, she's a streamer you come to become friends with irl, but it still hits in a way because interestingly the game is sort of commenting on parasocial relationships as you obsessively watch her streams and feel superior to other viewers because you actually know her in person... I recommend this if you're into that type of NTR and the artwork is the best of Venus games so far.

I think there is an element of verisimilitude in both creators. the girls as you say are not corrupted instantly or fall for the cock. they just simply start holding it and eventually give up to their circumstances. like a person simply going from " if i am doing this for X reason and it wont be stopping for now I may as well enjoy it", and then it goes into the "i enjoy it and want it"
there is also the fact that rascous character are not cum fountains or unlimited in orgasms. the characters stop when interrupted, or there are scenes that simply build for future scenes like a quickie or some teasing. not every scene has to be about sex, and at the same time those scenes that do not contain sex are not too long and sometimes do not even lead to orgasms. it just build into the hidden aspect. they also make plans for future days. " i will fuck you on the weekend" and that in itself is used to build tension even if it is fabricating a lie or a sense of relief when the day is oppened up because of luck.

yes, you explained it well. the writing skillfully convinces you of how the women rationalize it to themselves and gradually fall into that pleasure, and it doesn't just disregard their home obligations and that other side of their life. I also really like how in the Rascou games (the favorite for me is a tie between the Yukari games and Stolen Wife 2) they show the immaturity/impatience of someone like Touta, and his little schemes and pleads for the next session or a date, and Yukari is frustrated and annoyed but she also starts to find ways to accommodate that under the guise of the study plan. The pacing is key here so it doesn't get repetitive, which I think Rascou excels at. Even the way the son directly plays into it, with his weird mix of curiosity/awakening and voyeurism, like helping that waterpark outing happen.
I recently played another game from the mystery pov first, Turning the Page, and that has a lot of encounters and puts a lot into writing out the scenario around the NTR and the main couple. I ended up liking it. But there's also a lot of overwritten flourish and the pacing can be brutal. Even if the ending does hit hard, I wish more games could have the proper restraint and tension of what Rascou does, really looking forward to that next game bc it seems like in the vein of Yukari where you play as the kid.
What would you say would be the best way to show scenes. For a game like rainmonster where the NTR is hidden and not found out by the MC, wouldn't showing scenes from the heroine POV be the only option?
Or do you mean something like the protagonist is there but since its behind a wall or smth so he doesnt see it?
Also would love some games(examples) where they did it in a more innovative way. Also how important is pixel animation for you guys. Its really expensive(in terms of time) to make pixel animations AND cgs

You see the entire process of the very small opening that the antagonist exploited to start the relationship until the very end where the heroine is fully seduced. You see hints of all the steps of the process.
You know what is happening but you do not know the how it is happening and your brain need to work hard to try to create the connections to explain why the heroine is having a relationship with the ugly bastards characters.
After the pov changes to the heroine and antagonist pov then it becomes an almost cliché netorare story. In the case of scars of summer, Ryoka have a litlle more character depth than most other heroines. But the first mystery part from the MC pov was really well done.
I tried this but goddamn is that a slog for little reward, especially given that all the NTR for the main love interest seems to require player driven interactions.

The scenes are great and I like teh overall plot. But the game play in how you progress the scenes is dog shit. Any game that makes you use a guide to progress is bad imo.
was just another disappointment for me, if you enjoyed it cool, but find you only get NTR when your character messes up it triggers one the routes, yes just one. You need to do them individual over and over again. Personally i said naw just altered save file. Personally a lot of scenes were kinda of meh. Only route i liked was black kid scenes, but i didn't like she became tanned skin at the end though.
when NTRMan was still good you mean, personally he dropped the ball for longest time. I did like Zombie one probably last good one, rest been pretty generic NTR's
he's just under cooking lately I'm not excited for these new games at all
Hey, thank you so much for this wonderful explanation. This was actually incredibly insightful. Being aware of things happening and not knowing how they are happening was something I did not think about at all. I will play the game again and explore how the dev does it paying attention to the parts protagonist is aware of and what's actually happening.
