After talking to her, you need to go see the witch, the quest log should update normally after that.

after talking to the witch i still cant talk to the shop owner

Mmh, the quest requires you to talk to the innkeeper first, then the shopkeeper (in the evening), then the witch, and finally the priestess. Normally, the part with the witch is what unlocks the quest log bug. Did you get all the previous dialogues?

Bruhhh, been going back and forth the mayor building to the HQ for 30+ times. Would be great if there was a bed in the building so you don't have to travel so far. Or at least a crystal to teleport inside.
I love the build up of this questline though, very well done. Just the travel time is too much. Also, letting us train solo sport training twice a day would help instead of 1 each morning.
