You will be surprised, but such people exist outside the window.
I'm talking about presentation. Which, among other things, is regulated by the forum rules. You can say “that would be more logical/better”, rather than running around yelling that “ahaha, the character is an idiot.” After all, almost all games here are created by solo dev's or in very small groups. Maybe SOME of the authors want the character to look like this. Maybe they don’t write novels their entire lives.
I actually partially agree with what you said in your previous post — “the trick is clearly not in the plot, but in the animations.”
That’s true, especially when compared to other heavy text-based AVNs.
But I wouldn’t go as far as to say
“no plot is better than plot.”
That said, I’m not even sure if you were just being polite and didn’t want to respond too harshly to some dumb hypothetical.
Personally, I don’t think there’s any need to explain anything to people like that — they don’t get it.
It’s clear that your point was that
this game focuses more on other aspects,
but then they take it and try to escalate into this ridiculous idea of “then why not just remove everything else altogether,”
as if that’s some clever argument — when it clearly isn’t.
And honestly, don’t expect any meaningful suggestions from them.
They’re not capable of constructive criticism.
Even if you agree with other thoughtful feedback,
they will twist it into “oh, so you only want people who praise you.”
Their comments are usually vague and logically weak.
If you check their past posts, their logic often contradicts itself.
They’ll say one thing just to oppose your point,
then bring up an entirely different argument that contradicts what they said before.
This person is already the third one who keeps complaining but still won’t stop following.
The first two seem to have been banned.
I’ve taken time in the past to reply thoughtfully to people like this,
but unfortunately, their posts were reported and deleted —
and mine got deleted along with them.
Also, here’s another thing I noticed that shows their lack of logic:
they even
suspect I’m the one who reported them.
But seriously,
if I were going to report them, why would I bother replying in such detail in the first place?
