Will the impovement patch still work properly? Is the DLC's translation bad enough to need a fan redo?
yeah. Dlc isnt included so it wont even cover that. Regardless the tl recently for nukitashi and henpri has improved so when you do come across it, it isnt horrible. That being said do go ahead and use the tl improvement patch, its genuinely needed.

I know yall are fans but I'll say my opinion on this game anyway. It has cute characters and the drawing is well done, but the plot and writing is bad, and I'm not talking about the cringe zoomer translation(RIP in pepperonis!). Most of the nudity is platonic or comedic rather than exciting. Honestly I was more excited with characters being fully clothed in other games than most of the nudity in this VN.
But what I didnt like the most is the hypocrisy of the main characters.
Also, the plot revolving around the fact that the Island is "perverted sex without consent" while the MC doesn't have sex for the majority of the game because you're "above that", well, it's frankly boring. It's a completely fictional setting that doesn't lead anywhere and only contributes to the hypocrisy of the characters. If it was like in doujins and the MC willfully participated, or if the characters were actually true to their principles and didn't hurt others while pretending they don't like hurting others or being hurt themselves, it would be more consistent.
