I mean, not necessarily?
It could very well be that he values things which are different from what you value (hence saying what he said).
As for me, I'm rather flexible in my tastes; so the whole is it harem or is it NTR debacle never really caused me concern all that much.
Me being hesitant in trying out this game has to do with the dev's writing; I tried out one of his previous games (iirc, it was Secret Summer lol), and while the game started off well enough, I found it quickly losing steam from around midway & go downhill.
I finished the game, but it was more of "lol I might as well finish it given I spent all this time playing it." but my overall thoughts on the game after finishing it was just meh.
That didn't really give me confidence to try out the dev's other games.
But I'm giving this game a go because, one; other than Jaquesdor's Origin Story (which I do think is better than this, though I guess personal tastes have some influence in that), there hasn't been any Superhero AVN with much focus on story that I've been trying out. Two; I'm kinda hoping Dev's writing has improved since then.
And I've played just one previous game of Superwriter.
But for people who have played more of his games and are more familiar with them, perhaps it's even more noticeable as to what they may like or dislike about Superwriter's games which are different from you.
Tbh, I don't even remember what choices I made for Episode 1, but having finished the recent update with Ep2, walkthrough feels....unnecessary?
Choices and the options given makes it pretty clear what is the positive (preferred) choice compared to the negative choice as long as the player is paying attention.
Not like this game's like Karlsson's Gambit, where choices options are ambiguous & a choice made on your gut feeling can literally screw you over (just to make it clear, KG is a fantastic game and one of my favorites on this site, but Walkthrough for it is pretty much mandatory unless one wants to suffer willingly
).
