Mafanam was the only animator I was following for quality Lady D vanilla animations. Are you fucking serious Capcom?

My guess its has something to do with Capcom new video policy that was in place in January 6. Plus Knowing that Mafanam was a 3D Japanese animator he got single out. Whereas over here in the USA, its a mess for Capcom to go after others who also done RE Porn.
Ohhhhh....that's really makes it even more stupid.

You mean one where she is getting fucked? Because he already made two animations with her.
Oops sorry. I meant a full length 8-10 minute animation. Nyl has stated he has absolutely no plans of making anything else with her save for the odd pin-up and short clip. Very unfortunate but at least we have the Gorgon scene to look forward to.

It is sad,but it is the safest way, after all,i dont think he needs a pack of bloodthirsty lawyers from crapcom to make his life a lot more less enjoyable

I'd personally trade the Gorgon animation for a Lady D one. Except in my version, Lady D has the two cocks LOL.

I'm of the opinion that all lawyers any copyright laws should just up and vanish from the face of the Earth, mysteriously. Even then, no one will say "Where are all the lawyers?" Instead, there will be dancing in the streets.

Dont talk it like that,i know lawyers look bad,but they are paid to defend your interests, and if your interests are bad,the results will always be something even worse

The kinda help me remember how putrid and greedy people can be
Meh, I mean it's kinda a difficult thing when it comes to rule34 type of a thing. On the one thing Capcom does have the visual rights to the character and I feel it's logical that they should have a say in how their character would be used for commercial purposes. On the other hand I feel that Capcom reveled into the whole Lady D hype pre-release and I actually strongly believe that fair use would be a strong defense if it ever went to court. Sadly the fact is that due to the "sensitive" issue of porn and the cost of going through a trial I expect that there won't ever be a straightforward trial on this.

free use is legit defense but they are having people pay for it which is profiting off of it where it can be the issue. if they did it for free and can prove that and mark it as parody i think that would make a better argument

People always amuse me when they bitch about copyright. Yeah I bet were you to in theory hit it off with an idea and someone else took everything you did and ended up making millions off your work, you wouldn't be too pleased. But nah, it's fine because copyright is bad lmao.

A bigger thing would be that it's transformative. The closest thing to a similar case was the star trek fan film ( ) but the issue there (and I'd have to agree with the judge) was that because it was just a movie using the same universe as ST there isn't enough transformation to validate fair use.
Here though the fact is that Capcom simply does not create porn. Even if the characters are the same, what they do on screen is vastly different from what Capcom has created previously. I think that's why Porn parodies weren't sued out of existance.
The big thing where this will be decided in the near future is going to be CGI actors - do the movie companies have the rights to create transformative material using the likeness of dead or living actors.
And while all that's going on - I am sad that Lady D is limited in use :D

I spent a little bit of time practicing dick sculpting, but I didn't really set any goals. Though I had done plenty of sculpting in that area before, I never did it from scratch, so I wanted to see if I was capable.
And... yeah no surprise here. Working with dick models a bunch in the past probably helped, but I can still put together one pretty easily. It's much less anatomically complex and open for stylization compared to other parts of the body, even the breasts.
It's interesting that artists will get a lot of criticism for getting parts of the vagina wrong, but they can make obvious mistakes when it comes to the dick and no one really bats an eye. I wonder if it's truly an anatomy problem or a social blind spot. Perhaps dicks are much more historically stylized so it's baked into our expectations.
At a glance, any dick criticisms amount to scale: too big or too small. But vaginas operate on multiple different axis: shape, proportion, texture. When's the last time you've heard someone critique the inaccuracies of a dick's frenulum? Perhaps these criticisms are observed but not verbalized, as opposed to the genitalia of the opposite sex.

Above are all the quick dick sculpts I did for practice. Perhaps I'll try doing some more realistic sculpts but for the time being I'm not very concerned about it. What I might do instead is focus on the micro detail with a higher poly-count sculpt or in Substance Painter. It could be a good jumping-off point for detailing other parts of the body and I don't want to get too attached to that Urgarulga model.

Which is why you should never put copyright characters behind a paywalled. But none of these paywalled creators never learn from that and act surprised when they end up getting cease & desist by the copyright holder.

That because the copyright law has be decades outdated even since the Internet became a thing. Theirs's more element added to it now that the law is seen outdated when enforce. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for people copyrighting their I.P. What we witnessing isn't Capcom enforcing their I.P like Nintendo does. Their just picking and choosing whoever to enforce it. Which is inconsistent and can be argue in a court.
