does anyone know of what software i can get for cheap or free to interpolate and upscale - prefrably to 8k but 4k 60/120 fps will also do

Genuine question: where do you watch these vids where you need an 8k version? I remember a time when 240p on a crappy tiny phone screen did the job.

Not to mention the hardware, power, and processing time you need to upscale to 8k. And this guy wants "cheap" software? I think he has his priorities mixed up. 
I only interpolate, which is much less heavy, also mostly cpu heavy. But I don't think there's "cheap" software that does both.

topaz has one of the best upscaling engine you could possibly find (if not THE best), their interpolation models are decent most of the time.
and yeah, wanting 8K content is an aberration per se

I never understood the obsession with upscaling and interpolation to be honest. Guess upscaling can make the image looks somewhat better, but interpolation has a high tendency to add artifacts imo.
Unless Nyl2 starts rendering in 4k, till then I think I'll just stick with the original.

What is up with creators making giant dicks like with the nightsong animation but then having them magicly disappear inside when fucking. Maybe I am wrong but half the appeal of doing over the top sizes like that is the girl stretching to take it and then having some visable belly bulge. Idk maybe that's just me.

You're right to an extent. I think it mostly has to do with what Blender is able to achieve and still look good. And also that cinema in general makes shots designed to be convincing. So they cut corners in order to achieve a desired effect. Sort of like shooting upwards to give the impression of power. Or far away to show how lonely and isolated a character is.
Porn does this too. Camera angle are usually set up to make the dicks appear bigger during oral scenes. Or using tiny actresses to make the guys dick look enormous in comparison.

He's 100% right. Animators don't bother because it is a pain in the ass to animate... Blender is more than capable of doing that.
