I feel like every MK game after 9 has been hit with not just the Ugly Stick, but the entire Ugly Tree. Then again, it was the same way with the Injustice games. Wonder Woman's face looked particularly man-ish. I get MK is trying to go for realistic-looking characters that fit in with today's culture, but I play video games to avoid today's culture. MK9 had the best(most sexy, revealing, Sonya is a combat officer but she's dressed like a stripper) outfits especially on concept arts, but in-game models were too manly( same height as men, same limb length, broad shoulders, narrow hips ( easier to balance the hurtbox, important for a fighting game) Also MK9 had biggest TITS which is nice.
I generally disliked MKX art design it looked too comic for my taste, but women became more feminine (notable hips, smaller stature)Outfits changed to more modest, TiTtrate dropped dramatically.
MK11 continued with average healthy female bodies, but it had prettiest faces in the series, except for Sonya. Maybe it just me, but Cassie and Sindel instantly became my waifus. DLCs brought some sexy outfits back. Sindel raised titrate a bit.

I reason I give the MK9 Models a past because they were still improving the models and they wasn't using mocap. Since MK11-now they are progressively making woman as unappealing as possible to not offended the Troons on Twitter. You can obviously see that from the before and after they mocap the woman actor faces, and then in game they look horrendous compare to male characters. They might as well just get rid of the female cast entire if they gonna continue making woman no longer look like woman.
