August 2025 Animation Challenge - DAY 1

Ashe is just taking advantage of the complimentary happy hour sausage at the bar.
Pretty simple start to the challenge. I don't think I've done any actual pool scenes before, just other water-related areas. As usual lighting outdoor scenes like this in Eevee is tricky but it ended up alright. If I had extra time then I would have polished a few things and tried out some caustic lighting, but the latter could have taken a lot of testing.
Im gonna have to give this a 3 out of 10

It's not badly lit, it's just jarring to see something like this from Nyl, who's work is usually lit like a horror movie.
This animation is alright. Could be better could be worse.

Yeah, he made it up in a day. It should be pretty obvious (at least I thought so) that it's not going to be as refined as his usual works... Not sure what some people expected. He literally even said so in the fucking post

Are you aware that this was part of an animation challenge to make something in a day?
It's obviously not going to have his usual polish on it and to compare it his works that have literal months of time put into it is incredibly short sighted.
