He should be in the top right if you have killed the Unknown, reported back to the adventure guild receptionist, talked to the wounded adventurer in the church, and then accepted the new quest in the guild. Check the Walkthrough for a more detailed guide.

Her face is meh, by anime standards, she ain't much of a looker

The annoying bug whereby the priest automatically respawns after you sleep if you let her get captured is still there. You can bypass that by doing activities that requires ap but honestly that is just a lot of hassle just to speed things along, I wished that they would have fixed that in this patch.
