It's not just you, the shading and detail is barely above line-art levels. The constistency in terms of size has also gone completely out of the fucking window. Is it me or is Techno's art getting worse?

Was an explanation ever explained in this thread to why he never put this on Steam? Or even in general had someone even asked why he wouldn't put it there at all?Honestly I'd rather just buy the game on Steam but apparently the guy is to stubborn to just add it on steam as is and update it as progress is made.
I asked earlier and someone did answer my question apparently at one point he said he'd put it on Steam once it was a finished product, which it isn't but the thing is I'd still buy this game even if it wasn't finished this game is really good even as is and I'd pay for it. I'm hoping someone who follows him on Patreon or Twitter could ask him the question if he'll put it on Steam sooner rather than later. Was an explanation ever explained in this thread to why he never put this on Steam? This is a stupid argument. I agree that there are many people around who see "Patreon" and "Developing games" as their job and have no real reason to finish the game because that would mean their income is lost.Yeah, I am surprised that people still support games on Patreon. Have you learned nothing from scam games like Monster Girl Island or Yandere Simulator? The standard should be for the developer to make the game first and then people buy it.
Excuses like "they need monthly pay" are BS, because that's not how it works. It's the same with making movies, budget VS box office. If the movie or game is successful, the money you gain can last you months or years, during which you produce another movie / game, not take a break (in the end it's still a job). If the game developer wants to start making games but can't afford it due to lack of money, he either just needs to do it as a part-time job until he becomes popular enough and can make enough money from the profits or take a risk by getting a loan (which I wouldn't recommend).
TL;DR - Don't support games on Patreon, the game developers take advantage of it and will often delay the game release as much as possible (and like someone said before, more support / money on Patreon will only make them lazier and less likely to release the game soon).
I don't agree with this. The only way these people most times are able to release their games is because of patreon, they are able to work on the game and dedicate time to it because they don't have to go to a job since their patreons are supporting them. Do some people take advantage of their patreons and get lazy? sure but to say that you shouldn't support developers because some people are bad with scheduling and releasing stuff on a reasonable time frame isn't fair to the the people who depend on their patreon to be able to work on their games and actually release quality stuff. If i like a developers stuff i think supporting them on patreon is the only way to get that developer to keep releasing and making stuff that i enjoy and want more of. Either way if you are waiting for their stuff and like it you will eventually have to pay for it, patreons just get stuff "free" ahead of everyone else who didn't pay and most times people who didn't pay don't get it at all later.Yeah, I am surprised that people still support games on Patreon.
