Don't know anything about the creator so it's mostly the platform. Like dinopara said, lots of funky stuff can come for free with downloads from there. Besides in general there's quite a few bad apples on there from what I've heard.

Version 0.50b is still better than what we have at 0.70. 0.80 is supposed to be far superior than 0.50b (reballanced, story revamped, a lot of new content, higher resolution) but you would have to wait at least 4 months to play it
What about the other versions of the game ,the new remake one and these two ? ( see the screenshots i attached )
There are two alternate versions that I know of, one looks fine but I couldnt really find fun playing it since I would have to replay a lot of things while looking for the new content (that I didnt even knew where to look for) and the other is not translated and completely broken so far. 0.50b is really good experience and if you want to play it, you should start there.

I'm not really sure about games that feel that close to nympri, but Sana is the closest that I can think of (altough the translation sucks). If what you enjoy are games that you can play as a whore, there is Noelle does her best and Reconstruction of Zanda Village.
