It is said on Ci-en that 0.80 is the LAST ALPHA VERSION of the game. I didn`t find anything that says they are pulling the plug.
From the wording it seems they want to finish the game but what exactly is meant by "last alpha version" is any ones guess

If you don't mind me asking, who is Sally exactly? It can't be the village headman's daughter, right? Then again, I haven't gotten that far into the story to know much. And I really don't want to grind this game, if you even want to call it a game, just to unlock some scenes. By the way, I wish we got to see more of the village headman's daughter, I know she got corrupted. But I was hoping to see more of her later down the line. And I still want to know how that one guy was able to corrupt her so effortlessly. And why did her dad let that happen? Maybe he got paid a whole lot of money to let his daughter get corrupted? I will never know, probably. And how old was she even? It would be fucked if she was a teenager during the flashback. I don't know though. I just wish we got more story with her. Like maybe the MC finds her somewhere randomly and idk is shocked I guess? She's either probably dead or screwing more guys. Who knows.

Edit: I would also like to mention that it sucks that Techno removed the flashback corruption scene of the village headman's daughter in v0.80. Unless the scene comes at a later point in the story?

in my pov, this is a whole mess of shit, it is acceptable if 1 or 1.5 year old, but at this point, this is no more than a bait to drain money for supporters.

The story has returned.
And it doesn't go past Chapter 1,fucking damnit.

The new intro is very interesting, I would say, since it flows a bit better into the rest of the story. The Demon attack has been mixed in with the Nymph cult.

Sally's death is tragic, both in terms of the story and also the fact that she died at all. I was very much looking forward to the 'relatively' innocent country bumpkin priest getting corrupted by demons, but that probably can't manifest now. Michael has disappeared with her body, so best case scenario, he takes her to the demons to rez her.

For the most part, it seems to be relatively the same story, as I was able to predict she was gonna die as soon as we ended up in that church, though meeting the sex demon early was a plus.

That being said, looking at this speed, and the fact that this will be the last publicly available build, we're probably going to have to wait an actual year for v1... I guess that I don't really mind that much. If he did trickle updates, that'd be a huge bummer. The story doesn't seem like it's going to be super long though? Back in 0.5, we already completed the 2 star stuff and I think we were partway into 3 star, so if he just buckles down and does the damn story, we can probably complete it way faster than like, all of the CGs and shit... But then again, there's also the whole Iris Storyline and stuff.

However, after version 0.8 was released, my expectations dropped, and I realized that this game might need more time to be worth playing. Do you guys have any recommendations for good games similar to this or those developers I mentioned?

Dont be mad at me for asking this, But which version has the most content, I know 0.80 is with story but it probably doesnt have the same content as the MOD that XDMW made or even the ACE 0.50 version? If i want to see the most content, do I play the fanmade mod or do i download 0.80?


Also, just what the hell is Parameter initialization option for 500SC when u go to the fortune teller?

0.80 probabaly has the most amount of official content but its more so just a glorified CG hunter game, combat is weak and unenjoyable. 0.50ace is probably better since it has a story that helps you go into the cgs during the playthrough. Also the 0.50 has a ton of cut scenes that didn't make it to 0.50 like a few iris scenes, story related scenes. 0.80 is decent but there's not much difference with the priestess' scenes in that one and the vxace version. New characters on the 0.80 like vampire princess, new potion maker, new locations so I'd recommend 0.80 but the vxace version has a few scenes I personally enjoy. Hope this helps and wasn't rambly

Its the end of the alpha apparently till techno goes full into finishing the game (he won't) but you can still play it now and then just wait for ver1.0 in a year in a half and by then you should've forgotten majority of the scenes. Either way this is a pirating website. You get it for free hahah

Honestly I never thought I'd see the day when Techno put the brakes on milking this project. As someone who only checks the thread and game once every year or two I'm glad that there will actually be a final version. Don't know what the future of Technobrake will be after this, I can't imagine it's a good decision for patreon/subscribestar numbers, but hopefully he's seen the H-devs posting the insane amount of sales they've got on Steam and starts finishing games again.

Techno takes 3 months to devlope 0.80 update to game, turns out he redid the story, made the game even more buggy, added in a total of 6 cgs that were lackluster and now is no longer going to be releasing updates as frequently as before.

THANKYOU for your response, in that case..Ill first play the 0.80 version and thn play the mod which is updated till 0.66 as of today, since apparently it has all the content (removed content by techno as well) and is uncensored...its 0.66 but i see every now and thn xdmw posting uncensored images in the thread so maybe he is working on getting the mod updated to 0.80
