hey , i was gonna tag u , but i hesitated bcs its been a while since u were active on this thread , yes 0.50b Vx Ace engine , the one on the 1st page , i did exterminate the rats and i did the '' road '' quest too , iam at the point where i meet michel and underground church quest to save his girl , meaning i did atleast 3 main story quests.

Jokes aside, to get Yarizo you need to have
saved him the first time you visited the port town, if I recall correctly. I think, when you first enter Port Town a cutscene starts to play. It's Yarizo event. Yarizo will be bullied by some sailors/ pirates. You get only
1 apporach/ chance to save him (difficult strength check throw, or pay money/ bribe bullies). Yarizo will probably wait at the Adveturers Guild after the rescue. If you fail, Yarizo gets thrown into the ocean and you never get to see him again- implied Yarizo's death.
Edit: Oh, and I think there was something like a timer? I remember vaguely some user saying that after 20-30 in game days Yarizo dies automatically, if player doesn't manage to visit the Port Town on time- again, implied Yarizo's death.
