Generally, the more serious and true to life a game wants to appear, the more nitpicky I get about the nuances. Most of what I found lacking here the first ten minutes couldn't be called a nuance, things that are off with this game are about as subtle as a brick through a window. Never mind the staggering amounts of anachronisms splattered all over the place the first few minutes (genuinely thought this would play in the 30's or early 40's), the inconsistencies don't stop there. How can a cashier who is only concerned with "counting her tips and paying her rent", despite splitting the cost between her and a roomate still "barely making it as it is", pulling totally insane amounts of shifts, afford to visit an establishment like Zanny's? Every single sentence in the first chapter is so cliché, a bot could've auto-generated the entire script, and I'm not entirely sure if it improved later, or if I've just gotten used to reading cookie-cutter sentences, with the usual spelling errors where you see a totally different word that just sounds alike, at some of which I, a non-native speaker, have to resist the urge not to bang my head against the table. Not a good first impression. Then there is our main character, the typical, can't do wrong, good looking rich guy with a big cock everyone has the hots for, family members included, he doesn't even have to try, he just has to exist. At first I thought this HAS to be some kind of a way to set up the perfect life for the MC, so there would be a semblance of apprehension when all of it will be at risk later down the line, but no version of events regardless what story choice you pick comes with any consequence that would make you reconsider your choices, the story seems to be on autopilot. This makes this game an almost completely frictionless pipe dream like VWM, but with less girls and more story, right until the end of chapter 8, which is all of the content that was available at time time of writing this review.
TL;DR: This entire game reeks of mediocrity all over the board, there is not a single aspect where it would stand above the crowd or do something unique it could call its own, therefore, a 3/5 is totally deserved - I'm using all the numbers from 1-5 mind you, I'm not pretending 1 and 2 do not exist, 3 is just that, average -, mainly because it tries too hard to be something more than it actually is and that's worse than if you have a VN with a much smaller scope that from the very first slide totally owns its own niche, because it doesn't bite off more than it can chew. This one needs a Heimlich STAT!
