from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.

I have to admit that of the new LIs this is the one that intrigues me the most

Have to say, Ash looks amazing now.

Which is why i'm torn.

Turns out that Dana is super fun and i'm liking how things have been going with her then there is Peggy who I adore and would love a route with her.

So now Ash is back, i've got Dana and also want Peggy.

I don't know if Peggy will have a route so not holding on waiting just incase. If she does i'll do another run through for her.

I also have a Bronwyn save and she's turning into a pretty great character too. She wasn't around much in the first one and didn't get close with Mal so that's been a nice route.

Devi is pretty great too but i'm not sure if she's a great love interest or a bestie in the making. I love their dynamic and the shower scene was hot but we'll see.

It's now back to the same problem I had with the first game, well, not problem more personal dilemma.

All the potential love interests are great but Ash is head and shoulders above them. Dana has shot up pretty quickly and Peggy is a close third though.

I don't know what to make of Cerys though. I don't think she's a potential love interest but i've gone from wanting her dead to wanting to help her. I kinda want her to have a redemption arc but I don't know if that's because she deserves one or if i'm still holding on to her being best girl in the original Occultus (male protag one). Even though it's an entirely different Cerys.

On the one hand she killed Ash but on the other hand, if she hadn't then Ash wouldn't be a Vamp now and wouldn't have been able to help Mal .... also Vamp Ash is hot as fuck.

I kind of understand your logic, but here lies the problem, you have created a top-notch novel and a lot of people have fallen in love with maddy, There's a great supply of awesome complementary characters for the main FMC, but you just stated after this one ends you got a non occultus novel lined up, and you say you may come back to occultus in the future, that could most definetely leave a large group of people dissapointed if you did not come back to occultus, personaly i think you could do so much more plots/stories for maddy.
I wish i had the ability to write a story like you have here, I know novels can not run for an eternity, But it seems occultus could run several more novels at a bare minimum.

I Completely Agree if i think of a Vampire VN this series is almost Instantly coming to Mind i love every second of it it will be hard to find somthing coming close to this after this one ends and its actualy Saddens me Deeply i have really come to apriciate this little Fantasy world and its characters if i have to go down on my knees begging for more i will do it.

Inevitable dicks in a "lesbian" game is not upsetting to me, it just doesn't belong there. At the very least I think this kind of fetish should be optional IMHO.

I pretty much agree with everything except the part about the original Occultus, but that's because I don't know much about it.

It was the first game I played by BeCe, not sure if it was the first he made but it was the first on here.

It's also the only male protag game by this dev. It was only by chance I played it, I was only looking for lesbian games at that time but it sounded interesting so gave it a shot.

It's not a proper sandbox but did have a bit of grind to it. Over the games Be has launched you can see how polished as a dev they got.

Anywhoo, starts of as a guy kinda outcast from the main family who ends up working for his aunt Cerys who turns out to be a vamp. She turns the MC, he takes on the evil side of the family and wins.

Bit of a brief run down but a lot goes on.

While male protag games aren't my faves I did really enjoy it and Cerys was awesome. I got the happy when another Cerys appeared in DoD even if she has an entirely different personality (original Cerys was rich and refined, complete difference from unhinged Cerys we all know and kinda love/hate).

It is well worth a look. It doesn't really connect to the current Vamp stuff but it's a fun story with a couple of sad parts and a decent ending. The Vamp girls in it are great though.

I do think the recent 2 Occultus stories are by far his best work.

Trying to find good lesbian games isn't easy. While there are quite a few games with lesbian content, having good, quality lesbian centric games is rare.

I've been blessed by a few this past couple of years but Occultus stands out by far. Great characters, interesting story, lesbian romance and enjoyable writing.

I did wonder how Be could possibly top DoD but Craving started really strong and kept that ball rolling. I've been loving this one.

Like I said earlier, the dilemma for me has been the love interests.

I mean, they are all great and any one of them could stand as best girl of their game but Ash was just a star from the start. Marsh was pretty awesome too and Vel.

When I read Mal and Ash had split I thought other LI's would shine and Dana really did. I didn't know what to expect considering how we met her in DoD but she was great from the first meeting. It was like Ash all over again. Even the cock was a bonus. Thought it would be hot to see Mal fucking a hot Vamp with a dangler and it was very nearly delivered. Scene was still hot but really can't wait for Mal to ride Dana senseless.

Anywhoo, got off track there.

Yeah, Dana stood out from the get go but it does have some great contenders for love interests.

Major downside is I can't tell who is a love interest and who's a supporting character. I say that because some of the main story characters from DoD weren't love interests so you never know.

I've gathered Dana is as is Devi and Bronwyn. It's the rest i'm unsure of.

I hope Ash will be, i'd love to see their romance continue and have a save ready just incase. She's looking awesome on her return. She looked great in DoD so to come back better is huge bonus.

Peggy is one I hope is a love interest but i'm not sure if she is. She kinda hints she's up for a bit of fun but i'm not sure if it would be more than that. She's a great character with an awesome look and I think her and Mal would go well together.

Vel I don't think so. I know she was in DoD but it seems any feelings between them have completely fizzled out and they barely trust each other now.

Marsh and Trinity haven't reappeared and giving how Vampire heavy this has got I don't think Trinity would fit in without being in mortal danger constantly. Considering they wanted to keep her out of that life, with Mal being a Vamp now I don't think she'd go for it again. Marsh is a possibility though.

Cerys seems more on the friendly side this time but still not sure if she'd be a love interest. Deff possible one nighter but full relationship, not sure on that.

What I like with the craving, it usually ends with a worthy cliffhanger. It isn't one that is artificial there just that we will play the next chapter. The chapters are good balance and let you a carving for the next one.

Also if BeCe don't make Ash as a possible LI, he is just a big meany.

I partially agree with the first part of your comment, trans women are not a fetish, but scientifically and biologically they are not a woman,They are a Trans woman and will be until we are capable of altering our DNA, Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against trans people if that's the life they choose to live, and i see nothing wrong with adding them to a lesbian AVN as long as it can be optional.
It's all about choices and variety, making a novel tailored to a larger variety of people. and so far that one trans woman has worked in this novel.
