He's still working on it. He posted about it over on his other game, Limitless. Seems he's been busy with IRL work stuff, I think. But he hasn't dropped this yet

I seriously don't understand why this has the "abandoned" tag. The dev themselves has said they are still working on it.

Cause Rules is Rules. In the end it doesn't matter what tag is there if you know it's coming.

Hey dev, just wanted to check on how the game is going. If memory serves you had some IRL stuff going on (won't ask about any of that), and wanted to see if the game development is going smoothly now?
Not abandoned, just slowly being worked on.. as mentioned many times, RL for the past year has been rather hectic..
Is there an idea of when to expect it? I likes the first chapter of Octo, even if it was a bit short.
must be a world record in beiing slowly dude, since release (nearly 2 years) not a single update thats not slow thats standing still
OPI was never originally going to be released when it was.. it was always a game I would work on from time to time and bring out when I had a good amount of content, but due to be being featured in many other games gallery pages it was getting attention on other game threads and I ended up having to release it. Hence why time between initial release and me actually start working on an update was like a year long, and then RL stuff happened and I couldn't fully commit to working on it.

Should have listed this as a "demo" then and use the completed tag.
Then give us info on why on the OP and you would be good to go.
(You never know you may learn more from other work and can improve this over time.)

Loved what there is of Limetless would like to see that finished.
And I seen this mentioned so thought I'd try what there is of it.
Honestly its not bad but the only thing I thought about was if its ever made.
I even though the MC will enjoy it on the Island that he still sues that fucking travelagents when he get back.

The abandoned tag comes automatically, the on hold tag has to be requested if I'm not mistaken.
since this game is clearly not Abandoned why does it have the Abandoned tag and not the OnHold tag?

Rules for abandoned tag going up.
There are 3 but I forgot what the 3rd one is.
1. No contact from the dev in over 90 days.
2. No update to the game in over 18 months regardless of how active the dev is.
(Dev can ask for the "On Hold" tag but the abandoned tag can go up if no update within 18 months, case by case basis.)
3. ???
Once the abandoned tag goes up it is very hard to get it to come off without an actual game update, not just bug fixes.
(This is also a case by case basis.)
