For all who what to know why the "Abandoned" tag and not the "On Hold" tag is being used.
Rules for abandoned tag going up.
There are 3 but I forgot what the 3rd one is.
1. No contact from the dev in over 90 days.
2. No update to the game in over 18 months regardless of how active the dev is.
(Dev can ask for the "On Hold" tag but the abandoned tag can go up if no update within 18 months, case by case basis.)
3. ???

Once the abandoned tag goes up it is very hard to get it to come off without an actual game update, not just bug fixes.
(This is also a case by case basis.)

OPI was never originally going to be released when it was.. it was always a game I would work on from time to time and bring out when I had a good amount of content, but due to be being featured in many other games gallery pages it was getting attention on other game threads and I ended up having to release it. Hence why time between initial release and me actually start working on an update was like a year long, and then RL stuff happened and I couldn't fully commit to working on it.

How is the game going? I'm not trying to be pushy, just genuinely curious.

Discord today take it for what it is , hope they come back

Basically long story is that..
1. Graphics card was causing my pc to voluntarily shut down when working on it.
2. Had a pc expert come out to check pc and make sure everything was all good.
3. Couldnt find an issue, and had to do a full wipe of my system. (I believed I backed up everything)
4. PC expert believed it could only be from gfx card, as my alternate gfx card was working fine in my system.
5. Sent gfx card back to Nvidia to get checked out as under warranty, only a year old.
6. In the mean time I had to re-install everything back onto my system.. all programs, all my DAZ assets, etc.
7. Discovered that my scripts for OPI that I had been working on (Day 2 dialogue) had not been saved and i've lost all the dialogue. Thankfully all images and image saves are still here, just all the writing gone... around 900 lines of dialogue.
8. Nvidia apparently couldnt find the issue and returned gfx card... prob just not wanting to pay out on a replacement.
9. Just got gfx card back and now have to put back into system.... only poss issue could be the singular cable that connect power cables to gfx card, as this is different to the one my other gfx card uses.
10. Have got to now re-write all of day 2 for OPI again to marry up with the images I have created, normally I do dialogue and then make images to match.

Other times would not boot up at all and I could spent 30 mins trying to get it to boot and then would go black.
Could never delete anything... as in couldn't send files to trash bin, would just freeze... same for trying to move files from one location to another... hence ended up not backing up my script.

After re-install everything working well but now lost script.

My system is quite complex, has server motherboard as that's what cpu takes, server ram etc not your standard normal system.

Would it be possible to try and upload your data to a private server, then either upgrade or replace the pc (once money is right)? Obviously this isn't a perfect solution but it's the first one I thought of.

But I am glad to see you still are around. I am looking forward to more Limitless, one of my favorite games.

Rookie mistake... next time do this...

I remember a story that someone posted about a co-worker back in the days of CRT screens where the screensaver was typically just a screen blanker. The co-worker came back from break and his screensaver had kicked in. So, thinking the monitor had gone on the fritz, he started smacking the side of it trying to get it to come back on. Eventually, his smacking caused his mouse to move and bring the monitor out of screensaver. So, thinking he needed to do this to "fix" his monitor, he did it every time his monitor "broke" and was never the wiser.

This is the thing... my pc is around 1 year old... and well, it cost me around $10,000.00 there isn't much more of an upgrade I can do on it, other than say upgrading the GFX card from a 4090 to a 5090. CPU is a threadripper and one of the top spec one, not the highest one as that part is like $10,000.00 on its own.. but at the time was the 2nd highest one available. (I have my fantastic subs to thank for allowing me to generate the funds (not all of them) in order to purchase this setup).

So upgrading my system isn't really anything I need to do, and certainly shouldn't be why I am having these issues. Like i mentioned my system is running fine now, just now lost all the dialogue I did for day 2. Luckily I have all the images left, so will just have to pull my socks up and re-write the dialogue again the best I can remember.

Hmm, okay, I used to do this when writing short stories, but how about putting your dialog scripts primarily on a private server then transferring them onto the computer in a text document, that way the original copy is always stored just in case of data loss? Of course, with this line of work I can see certain problems with that, but it's just an idea.
