I somewhat understand the holding back on that, but also see it as making the desire to see it as becoming somewhat frustrating, and just uninteresting to the point of not even caring about it over time.

I do very much enjoy all the foreplay or teasing scene's, but they do sort of let you down a little with each long time coming update. (Not that I do not understand the time and effort consumed when making all the little scenes. ( I mean it is sort of like Christmas, you don't want to wait, but you know you have too )).

AI can now make animations waaaaaay faster than we could. And in some cases, in way better quality. Why wouldn' we use them? You just make two renders, tell them what you want to happen inbetween them and it does

In all these games the AI scenes are horrible, and i just mash skip/ctrl to get to the artist rendered scene. animation is usually the same too, nobody really wants your shit animations unless they are 300 million dollar worth blockbuster movie quality. and nobody wants your shit AI animation which is usually worse than your custom made animations. in other words fuck off, and save dev time by not including these stupid scenes. the most high quality art is the 'still images' renders that a human being creates entirely, that's all most people want to see.

Well, a year goes by and you finally decide to work on the game. And what did we get? You waited two more months and then released an "ALPHA" for €50. I'll say it again, it's your decision, but think a little about your fans (more than what you got out of that update after a year, it's not worth €50). You continued with the payments every time you updated, and I'll say it again, at least people could choose whether to buy it or not. And what are you telling me now? Putting AI in animations that are so obvious and sometimes even look bad? Is that "better quality"? Look, you'd be better off showing me a still image or your own custom movements, but don't tell me this is going to solve your problem when it's actually making it worse. This is my opinion right now about the game. What do you care about my opinion? Well, as I said at the beginning of this sentence, you decide what you do, and besides, sometimes I see that you don't care much about what other people say. You keep playing the game however you want and see where it goes.

I agree on most points however the 50 euros price tag is the ability to get early Alpha access once time passed the update was avaible for 4 euros for the full 1.0 version

This is the issue. At the end of the day, I listen to what my Patreons are saying, the ones who pay me each month. This is what they say:



As one can see, only 20% said they hated most of them. For next update of Holly, I will only use AI for some story scenes, not the UwU ones

Allow me to be as constructive back to you, would you listen to someone that loves your work so much they pay you for your work? Or someone who does not?

If the majority of my Patreons are cool with me using AI, I will continue using AI. The market sets the game, and if AI is the new game in town, then one must get in on it. Or not, and get left by the wayside

For sure. I think that the longer ones, especially the rodding, could be done better. It works better for short ones, which is what I should have done

I'm confused as to what actually happened in this update. I didn't see anything that meant anything to me.
It looks asked me a bunch of question s about what happened in scenes I never saw. And then it gave me a long drawn out animation of her just standing at a computer doing nothing. I had to sit there waiting for what seemed like forever, with no way to skip it, just to see her get snatched up by what I THINK was a rope.

It made absolutely zero sense. And it did nothing but frustrate me.
And it is on all 3 of my saves...which were supposed to be full of different choices.

I'm pretty much done with this whether the dev is done or not. Don't even care anymore and lost interest....AI or not.
