Monthly Update: Also Yearly Update Edition

Another month (and year) is ending, so it's time for the good, old monthly update! I'm writing this in a hotel, waiting for a flight home after a busy December, finally ready to take a few weeks off from my day job. End of the year tends to be hectic where I work, so it's nothing new. Fortunately, there's usually plenty of time off later to make up for it. This will be a pretty short update as I hinted last time, but next one should have more content in it. The 3D demo release should be around the end of January or start of February, but that depends on how the Godot 4.6 release schedule goes, as it includes new rendering improvements and useful fixes, along with a new inverse kinematics system I have been playing around with that can make some animation tasks easier. AMD has been having some issues with its Vulkan drivers again, although the latest driver update seems to have fixed things for now (probably until they manage to break it once again). After the demo is out, the plan is to release Offcuts 0.4 a few months later and keep going with the 3D stuff.
So until then, enjoy the holidays if you can. Also, (late) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, hopefully it will be a good one.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until Offcuts 0.4 is out. I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then. Thanks for your endless patience!

Holy fucking shit, he gave himself an out for the next 6 months. We did it , we reached maximum procrastination status.
No way 4.0 even exists, this basically confirms it. They have nothing to show for almost 7 years.
