There is really only like 1 or 2 still actively following the Stencilscam. Everyone else already figured out years ago nobody getting fuckall shit.
I mean he's been pausing payments every time I think, never actually been a subscriber to check. He's been getting fuck all during this entire time too so idk the endgame of this. There's no fucking point to any of this. He's just writing monthly updates for the fuck of it.

Another month is ending, which means it's time for the traditional monthly update! Nothing too major to report before the end of the year, I have been transferring and restoring most of the data from my backups to my new computer. Pretty boring stuff, but it's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate in ten years. Still, all important stuff is back alive, including Offcuts 0.4 and the new 3D demo. Took some time setting up all the compiler and data toolchains, but things work again (at least everything I tested, fingers crossed). Planned release for the 3D demo is currently at some point during or after the end of the year holidays, so aiming for the middle of January next year. This is mostly because I'm a bit busy during December finishing work projects and one of my work contracts ends after this year, which leaves me with more free time once again before my next major work project starts later next year. The 3D demo and Offcuts are both in good shape, I just need a good timing (and courage) to finally do the 3D demo release and afterwards the Offcuts 0.4.
So in short, not much is happening during December, but 3D demo should be out in January 2026 and Offcuts 0.4 around March or so. Mostly depends on how I decide to return to this little hobby and go forward with either new stories or something else, so I reserved some buffer between those two releases. But more of that when it becomes relevant. As always, give or take a few weeks, but I don't see any major issues that can happen at this point. So happy early Christmas and New Year, next update in a month as always! I'll see if I can do some extra renders with my new computer, my old one started to often lock up during Blender rendering during it's final months, before it finally died completely. Nice to press that render button once again without worrying about that.
As always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until Offcuts 0.4 is out. I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then. Thanks for your endless patience
Jesus he is already planning delay 0.4 for another 4 Months! What the heck happened to just needing to finish proofreading and press publish like 2+ years ago?

Don't think that was ever up for debate.
The real question is will we get A Song of Ice and Fire: Winds of Winter and or Half Life 3 before Offcuts 0.4?

December Monthly Update: Nothing new, you shouldn't be surprised edition
I announced in my last monthly post that I wouldn't "release" anything until "2026" so I can't see how anyone is expecting any new game content this month.
Just read my November Monthly Update and we'll be on the same page.
Make sure to set aside some time in January. I'll for sure release this demo for everyone to check out!

This is why I've never told a dev to "take all the time you need". Don't get me wrong, you always want them to take their time and not to rush it. Just don't ever tell them that because they will take it literally.
As for the monthly procrastination post. I find it amazing that every month he manages to weasel out of the next month each time.

I don't even understand having deadlines if you know you're not gonna meet them especially considering no one's expecting you to release at this point anyways. Like I'm genuinely so interested in why he even keeps this grift up.

Maybe stencil was an early LLM experiment and no one ever shut it off, so it just keeps typing excuses from now 'til perpetuity...
