Not all devs work that way. Case in point, the dev I've been working with for (roughly) the past 6½ years now will only release holiday-themed (Halloween and/or Christmas) updates if said holiday falls on the day of release. Which, in this particular developer's case, release dates are on the last Friday of the month. So if the holiday occurs before or after that Friday, it won't get included.
You shouldn't ask this on this game's thread (see Site Rule 2.4). Instead, create a new thread on the Recommendations & Identification forum, or search there to see if others have posted the same question.
What about his other game. Where do you guys follow it? Has he said anything?
You need to download part one to start a new game or load a save from the early game.
To start this game you have to play part 1 (v0.9) first. When finished you can continue with downloading part 2 (v0.10) and start a new game there. Unfortunately the old saves from part 1 are also shown in part 2, I think that's actually a mistake from the dev since you can't use them there anyway.
