Naming the main character probably means that the game will be written in third person, which kinda sucks, I really liked the second person use in Lost to monsters and this one, it's less common and cool to see, but I probably am alone in thinking this
I was thinking of perhaps reworking the writing to have both dialogue as it is now and also a description of events in the third person.

Dev, I'd suggest you might want to learn Godot + GDscript, it shouldn't be super hard to make a 2D game with it after following a couple of tutorials, and you'll get a lot more flexibility

I've already tried it, to be honest it wasn't really my thing.
I don't want to waste time learning a new language while Gdvelop suits me perfectly for what I'm trying to do, plus it's super easy to use.

So, is anyone here able to provide a control guide? For whatever reason, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to exit the passive healing mode or equip an item/gear after bashing on my keyboard for a good bit. Can't tell if things are bugged or if there is a specific combo I do not know about.

Might be a good idea for this game's dev to include some sort of key to help solve this issue unless I am the only idiot that can't figure this out.

No, don't worry, the prototype wasn't designed to have a good feel and easy access to the controls.
Normally, you should be able to move your character and exit rest mode naturally with the arrow keys or simply by pressing the button again.
To equip an item, you have to press the backpack icon and then click on the item in question.

If this simple instruction doesn't work, congratulations, you've won the lottery on which you'll have completely random bugs due to the coding program I use.
Which means there's nothing you can do about it, and I'll fix most of these bugs in the next major update.

Ok I got it , we've got a lot of big brutes : minotaurs , orcs , beastman of all kinds ( hopefully centaurs as well ) , but what about little brats like goblins and skaven ?

It might happen the dev said that humans will be removed from the game so a remake of the sacrificial rite with a horde of goblins would be on point.

I might redo scenes with goblins when I create a level with orcs.
As for the other smaller creatures, I haven't done much testing yet. most of the time, the results are very poor.
For my first game, I tried to create scenes with dwarves in the cave level, but it wasn't great, so I replaced it with another creature.

For now, I'm focusing on the first map, the forest, where there will mainly be beastmen like werewolves, bearmen, boarmens, etc...
I might also soon ask for ideas for events similar to those in the prototype.

so what exactly do you do once you clear the map? how do you advance pregnancy without cheating?
This is a prototype, there is almost no content and no goal.
Advancing pregnancy without cheat is tedious and not worth your time but don't worry future updates will improve the game and it's core mechanics.

got a suggestion, guessing the pink bar is a lust bar, make it to where the bar drains over time, it still give the same effects it does now, but those effects vanish as the bar depletes, and add a corruption bar. unlike the lust bar, the corruption bar can't be brought down but it fills slower as a result, it also gives the affects of the lust bar along with a few extras, like if the corruption bar is maxed out, the player loses all ability to engage in fights and it just goes into a sex scene, kinda like when the character is pregnant. (just a thought btw)

Yes, I had in mind making a more complex system, but I like the idea of a long-term change with corruption.
I'll make a note of this idea for when I rework the system.

I really like the instant loss scenes when you get caught while pregnant, and I think having the same thing happen if an enemy runs into you while resting would be nice. Though of course as things are, you actually have to let it happen since you can exit the resting state at will so making it take one "turn" (if enemy movement works like that) to get out of would make this something to take into account when deciding to rest, and to not make it entirely frustrating I think having something like dedicated rest spots that are safe, but rarer and letting you do it anywhere, at the risk of possibly getting jumped

I had that kind of mechanic in mind too, also some events on the map that allow you to rest but there is a chance to get attacked even if there is no enemies nearby.

Hi there , got a few questions:
1. What happens with the kid when it's you know out?
2. Will there be scenes of it going out?
3. Will scenes be different depending on the father?

And also just wanted to say your games are amazing simple to understand and fun to play, oh and the characters and their designs fantastic ( It terrifies me to imagine how much work it takes to make it so good looking with ai and all ) , so ye waiting for the update on the game , keep up the good work.
