I haven't got the chance to download the new version yet, was expecting it to be like the others. It's weird since it says nothing in the changelog about it either. Maybe it's a bug?

Could be a bug maybe not, maybe they removed it thinking people wouldn't need it or maybe it's a simple case of they forgot can't say for sure but we'll just have to wait. I did try asking them on itch but no response atm.

To those asking about the debug keys, they're Patreon-only features. So I recommend waiting for the next build to come, which should be either sometime tonight or the next day.

I'm not sure about you guys but I feel like I'm getting less excited about this project. I don't mean "WhErE's ThE pOrN!?", I'm not a complete cretin, but I'm just not feeling it as much. The new storyline, where it's now just a battle royale with nottheinfinitygems(tm) as a goal, Joe going from Hero to opportunist in a tournament (technically means the game is just "Oh So" an there's no Hero left in it). I dunno, it's less of a "IT'S UPDATED!" and more a sigh and an eye roll cos, ah shit, here we go again with a thin plot. The hero one was done to hell too but it still felt more fitting then "aliens came, we all fuck-fought, then someone because rich and/or powerful". It sounds like a 80s porno idea, "The Sex Arena: Starring Dickus Biggus and Pussy Squirts".
I really can't bring myself to update the wiki either. There's a little to update, Lood City got new, there's a save icon, plot updates, but I just can't see myself doing it anymore. Which kinda sucks cos I liked doing it, I think I was the first guy to update it after it was made, but I think I'm done treating it as my pet project and just gonna let everyone else deal with it now.
I dunno, maybe this is just a mood, maybe I'll feel different in the morning. I feel like I'm whining over nothing but, at the same time, I feel like something changed for me. And those changes normally stay. Sorry if I'm coming across as some angst lord, dunno if I am but I can never tell given every calls you an edgelord nowadays if you don't feel perfectly pippy every second of the day.
Just wondering if it was a me issue.

While I won't say your being angst I'd say maybe your being to quick to feel a different way towards it but that's just what I think after all we all have different opinions and feels towards things who know maybe you just need a break or maybe its like you said maybe your just in a mood and you'll feel different in the morning personally I think you just need a bit of a break and not be to super invested into this technically that's what I did with project x love potion disaster and that's still being updated(as far as I can remember) and why I feel indifferent towards it.

I'd happily switch with you. I'm not a fan of furry (although I do like this game), but I love gay (m/m). I wish we got more real porn or platformers or RPG or any type of games.

Yeah, love potion x is still being updated... Apparently. XD That thing has a corpse-like speed of updating. And it's not just this update, though this one did feel somewhat lesser like how I feel when yet another tile puzzle game or match-three porn game appears on Steam (all they do is make a basic game and slap porn from e621 on it, how is that worth £5?). The last update felt like "Okay, so you're adding guys who do next to nothing but can be fucked? Well, it's porn, I guess...".
I feel like there's not enough progression forward, like the story is stalling. The retcon of the whole plot felt like they'd screwed up somewhere, so had to rewrite it in the middle, which only added to this feeling.
It's night now, been an entire day, and I still feel the same. But, you're right, maybe I do just need a break. I'll still drop by to see if there's any updates to this or my other games, but tonight I'm going balls-to-the-wall on my own projects. Gotta keep my hands busy some other way beyond jacking off, eh? XD

Yeah I didn't like too much of the change in the story but I kind of like it more than the usual aliens invading the planet type cliché by itself ya know like its no longer just "we're invading your world and we'll fuck you into submission" but now a "while we are invading your planet we appear in peace in a form a game with a exuberant prize while we probably have a secret motive underneath it" but I'm sure there's probably a reason for it but I'm sure that they're working as hard as they can on the game so I'm sure we'll some good progress again soon.

It's a porn game, if you want good story telling that's "more creative" maybe seek a book or Podcast DnD or something. It's hard with lack of money as is, they don't really need to spend money on a creative director or writer if "hey there's these people who fap to our nice art, lets keep making pron and a sorta refined (or getting there) fighting platformer with abilities and stuff we're still testing out. Not to be that guy but yeah if you look in a brothel you're not gonna find a model, just plain ol' high school dropouts and illegally kidnapped women.

I mean, I still feel meh to it even without the new story. Though, honestly, I think you missed my point on the story. What they had before, tried and covered in jizzum as it was, felt better than the tournament idea to me. If anything, their attempt at adding a different fleshed out story, the act of being "more creative", was the problem.
The plot feels kinda cheesy now, which isn't helped by Nottheinfinitygems(tm), with Joe not being a hero but being an opportunist (making "Hero" in the title invalid). Before, the story was like the original Metroid: Here's a thing, now do it. Simple, overdone, but you can't really fuck it up. It had a charm to it. The new one feels like it was added in simply because it met a standard that nobody actually asked for. (unless the people on Patreon wanted it, it's not like I can tell)Using your example, I looked into a brothel expecting to find a good bit of arse but found some twink dressed in tight bright pink clothes, who could swallow his fist, saying "owo Fuck me daddywaddy!": I'll still fuck it, but I would've been preferred it not be tarted up.
