Finally trying the fabled Bates fight after 6 million updates about it, and the guy bugs out off-screen spamming the same one spinning fireballs attack forever on the first try. Very cool.

I sure do hope that the next update isn't going to be delayed as they scramble to try and get things ready for a Steam release. It would suck that after so many years of Patreon updates for it's development the act 1 conclusion would be thrown on to steam. After so many years of waiting to finally have some scifi robot content for this game about a scientifically advanced species of perverts coming to earth to host a tournament (I think? I didn't wanna pay on Subscribestar for the lore exclusive comic) it seems wild that only now after 6 years of updates that they have a fully dedicated robot enemy

wasnt that patched also yes fire ball are a bit annoying but when you get used to the pattern is rather normal i do feel there a lack of the metroidvania upgrade element tho

Yeah, it's quite too linear for a metroidvania. They'd have to go back and create a few upgrade-gated side tracks in existing levels for that. And actual collectables. Maybe a collection of porn mags the bever guy lost for a sidequest (and porn)? Health upgrades? Dudes to fuck that aren't out in the open like that one "???" guy in the palace? Anything?

It's also too easy to avoid enemies if you just want to advance in the game. You basically either wait for them to fuck you or just beat them up to fuck just for pleasure. The only real challenge is Bates.

To be fair the controls are kinda too ass for the whole game to be as difficult or half as difficult as Bates
