So I gave in and played through Part 2. It's fantastic! You added animations and everything! I really look forward to more. Are they plans to go back and update Part 1 with animations as well?
I'm glad you liked it, in terms of salty going back to rework the animations of character 1 I don't think it will be possible as he is working on the new game after opt ch.2, and reworking all the animations for that game would be a big project as the game is actually big, though if he was to do such thing it would be a patch for the steam version of the game, and tbh ch.1 is perfect as is.

That whole update was like 5 minutes of play time. I know there were two scenes, but still wtf? How much shorter can it get? And also I remember a few dialogue options (with hearts) of crew members, which were there in couple of earlier updates, and when clicked said things about future updates. Those all dissapeared now, so I guess dev stopped pretending to care and just wants it wrapped ASAP. And also asking patrons what to do with Sheherezade AFTER the option to claim reward was put in the game? What a clever way to give only half of the update and push the second half as the next whole one... Man, dropping from his patreon just keep proving to be better and better decision with each passing month since I did it.

Just wanted to add to the last review by zaqrwe about there being less and less princesses... I don't thinks it's necessarily bad, coworkers are much more designed and have more personality, but yeah, I guess, it feels not diverse enough seeing the same faces all over again. Also, the main and only princess in chapter being jasmine just drives me crazy because I already hate her enough from Akabur games, where everything is about and around her. And she's not even cute nor sexy. Sharizade being the same girl but older is definitely not making it better

I think Akabur just codified Jasmine as 'the corruption princess'. He's currently making yet another game with her, but fortunately she doesn't seem to be the main focus at least LI wise.

I'd love to see overwatch characters being added to Once a Porn a Time as corruption targets, as well as, maybe, some other girls from famous games. It doesn't have to always be Disney cartoons, setting and story allows other fictional characters.
This brings a question about that new game that's coming out after Chapter 2, maybe it will be focused on girls from other universes but still in OPT timeline

Yes, it's not entirely bad to have more coworkers, and all that given I don't consider the game to be bad because of them. Writing is genuinelly funny and enjoyable, but give us equally more targets to corrupt damnit. And make it in a way we don't need almost the entire full chapter dedicated to finish corruption of the single one.. Making interactions with the ones from CH1 would make it so much more bearable rather than state game is in now, when only Oriental Capital is avaible.
At the very least, it seems like it would be simple and straightforward to add some repeatable scenes with the Princesses from Part 1, to keep those characters alive in the story, even if nothing is happening with them.
From my point of view, i think what happened is the the objective of ch2 was to corrupt the whole entirety of the oriental capital, but salty realized how big of a project that would be so he just scraped the whole thing and just kept the corruption of jasmine and sharizade, though might seem like a stupid theory but it is possible.
Like think about it salty wouldn't do this to us, especially after a well built ch1, I don't think the lack of "corruptible android characters" is intentional.

I wouldn't be so sure about it being unintentional... You know, I was a patron for quite a bit of time, and while I was growing increasingly annoyed by aforementioned issues, I was still supporting him. But let me tell you what was the last straw, that actually made me quit. After one of the updates I made a comment there, about him intentionally dragging the whole corruption, and adding scenes with the crew instead, just to not make patrons too angry. Because even if not princesses, at least it's something, right? No hate, no disrespect, just wrote it feels like this and I don't like it. And I wasn't alone, there were people upvoting it. The problem was, instead of replying to this comment, or even just ignoring it as some grumbling, after few hours they deleted it. So they were aware of the issue, yet chose to silence critique instead of actually doing something about it.
Also yes, chapter 1 was well built, and for example there was whole Rapunzel character added as a patron quest, and it only took 2 updates to finish the corruption? And now look at CH2 - The latest patron quest is actually finishing corrupting princess that was already there and you were already in the process of corrupting. Literally last chunk of main storyline was sliced and presented as "patron exclusive". It is way worse if you think about it for a while.

-First they intentionally wait for next Patreon payment date pass before releasing the update
-Then make half of the game "Patreon exclusive"
-Then making early access 3 weeks before anyone else for 15$ a month, without updates even being once per month
-Stopping communications with community, going on F95, asking to translate their game for free and disappear with all possible ways of communication closed
-Break save files for people who've used Patreon codes that's been extracted from the game files and not posted on Patreon, possibly affecting people who were or still are subscribed, but also reading F95 thread
-And now deleting the posts with critics on Patreon page lol
Well, feels more and more like "give us your money and fuck off" kind of behavior. Sad, but the game is still one of the best ones out there for me

I'm having trouble getting jasmine's outfit from lycoris for the patreon quest. It keeps telling me i havent activated the code but im pretty sure that i entered in all the new codes. Also i cant get either the feathers agony or double princesses patreon stuff to start.
Already done with Sphinx.. I'm guessing i need to do both of them. Anyways, who should i be sending to get the mirror btw? Does it make any difference in part 4?
Looks like it runs deeper than I previously thought, and I don't like the way things look in patreon nor the way things are heading, oh let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best in the next game
P. S.: After I wrote this I thought about it a bit and it clicked what if it was all about the new game, salty did mention that they were starting the development of the new game a while ago, I think after the the update where there is a scene with snow white and Amandine, I don't remember, so that might be the reason the updates are soo small relative to the time spent between each update.
