VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Once a Porn a Time [Ch.2 v0.13] [Salty01]

This game is fantastic! It's kinda grindy, but it is worth it. They content is well-drawn and well-written and it's only 0.25! I cannot wait for what 1.0 fully has in terms of characters, outfits, and quests.

Honestly a great time. A chance to screw around with classic Disney princesses. Pacing is pretty good, writing and plot are surprisingly original (setting is a bit of a Westworld rip-off but this is acknowledged and then moved past). The game/grind mechanics definitely need some work, but for now there's a cheatmoney option which allows you to bypass any sections you don't feel like grinding through, which allows you to just enjoy the story and action sequences. Characters are well-written and art is well above average. I spent roughly two days poking at it to see everything in build 25.2, and am excited to see what more is added from here.

I binge-played this game last night and it's fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys trainer games. For still being early in development, there is a surprising amount of depth to the gameplay and quests. Plus the art and characters are appealing, the dialogue is clever, and the amount of grind required to progress is minimal. I can't wait to see what new content is introduced in future updates!

I love it and can't wait to see what else is coming! Even doing the cheat money it does feel a little grindy at times, can't imagine getting money the non-cheat way. Wish there were more animations for the events.

Several hours of play and no sex yet still grinding just to see her naked..Cant use an editor for things like money or cupid as far as I could tell. Ok art, akakur type grind but not nearly as worth it so far. Frack that!

Lots of messing about for tiny snippets of content. Kinda slow and boring just to see a bit of ass or tits here and there. The girls look alright but it's just constantly doing the same thing over and over to finally see something. It just drags and isn't fun.

Did I just play through an entire chapter and only got a glimpse of Snow's pussy? Does this game have any sex in it, or is it one big tease? Game play was good. The buildup I thought was slow but sure. Then at the end of chapter one, the devs leaves you with a case of blue balls. Chapter 2 open with a whole nother princess to corrupt. I feel Snow White's story was left unfinished. I was dying to tap that ass. Big disappointment.

This is the base of a very strong game. Written after the second major release, 0.24.0.1

The art is unique. The style is a mix of modern cartoons and very early Disney. I'm a big fan of it and I think it's pulled off well.

I also like the implementation of Tinker. Instead of being a side/supporting character like many similar characters are in other games, she helps to drive the story herself. I think this will contrast Emee who will remain just a supporting role for most of it.

The wait time between the first and second update was about 6-7 weeks. While I'd like for that to be faster, it's only the beginning. As the author gets more Patreon subscribers it's possible it'll speed up the process.

The drone system even after the rework leaves me wanting more than was given. Adding the shop at Emee was good, but really the drone is just busy work. It was mentioned that eventually people will use the androids and pay for it, which will hopefully be enough to make it so you only need the drone to go find quest items like the hat or the eel.

Overall I'm really impressed with the game. The first release had a lot of content, and the second release followed that up similarly. I hope there's a lot of content to come and that the author gets the support they deserve both in this thread and on Patreon!

Great game. I love when developers execute a parody of a series perfectly, this is one of those cases. This game has it all, great storyline, comedy, character implementation, art, etc. this is in my top three favorite parody titles ever. I am certainly keeping this thread on watch and tuning in multiple times to see how the thread is going. One of the best parody games created and I can't wait to see the next version be released. This game doesn't feel like it has much to it currently but I can see it's going in the direction of having a plethora of paths to go down and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see where this goes. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a fun time in both of its meanings.

Great game! It has a great story line, great comedy, and great game mechanics. If you like parody games I would definitely recommend this game. It's one of my favourite titles and I can't wait until more of it gets released.

nice game! It seems like the author has a huge plan for the final work and now it is only the start. Resource harvesting process is kind of boring and it would be nice if more small games get added in. The coming sections would be really nice and the past of this world could be quite complicated. Looking forward for the final version!

very good, the game still has a lot to develop, but what is already in the air is good, could have more planets with other fairy tale characters, little red riding hood and so on, I recommend playing, it's very short game for you make it whole in 1 hour.

I'm impressed by the speed of the updates. Most porn devs don't update this fast.

The story is interesting compared to most parody games. Near faithful recreations of old characters is a rare ideal.

I really like the concept of the game so far, and has other have said i would like if it was possible to do more stuff with tinker bell, please continue with this amazing work, it has a lot of potencial.

Currently a decent amount of content, took about an hour and a half for me to complete everything available and you don't get very far but looks promising.
Art is pretty nice, nothing too amazing but far from the worst.
There aren't too many typos and the grammar is mostly correct which is nice.
Overall a 4/5, maybe wait for a few updates but definitely worth it

Feels super grindy. Also for the 22nd rendition it doesn't have a huge amount of content. Everything takes three days. Almost nothing to do between grind stalls and night has no purpose (yet).

Ok, now that I have that aired out I would still give this game 5/5 if the dev continues their work. Great art style, decent corruption, a premise to build on and plenty of room to work with I am sticking with this game.

So now I'm updating my review since I posted it back on December 22, 2019 on June 20, 2021. Been over a year and a half since the game's first release, and I am sadly disappointed. So I'm adding new sexual content category.

So I still find the art, characters and story pretty good and promising. I love the way Salty has the MC interact with everyone in the scenes. And while the scenes are still pretty good, I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of sexual content. This is a porn game after all, it's what we're all here for.

I understand that drawing art takes a lot more time and effort than using 3d models, but right now there's only one girl (Anna) you can have sex with, which is currently a non-repeatable event; that also includes a face fuck at the start, and I'll admit was pretty nice. There's about three other scenes I've seen so far where the MC and a female character actually interacts sexually (as in he's not just sitting there watching them do something or he's jacking off to them without their knowledge), and one of those scenes is locked behind a paywall. For the most part, it's just the MC asking the female characters to show their tits and pussy.

While the drone mini-game has been improved on, it's still grindy and rather annoying. It's nice that a visual aspect was added to tell us where a quest item is. Problem is that it's still a pain to play. Can't tell you how many times I had to pull out because I didn't have enough energy to grab the quest item or if I just move forward I'd completely skip the item. Which made me have to either save scum or waste days to repeat the attempt. Once you get access to the plus five AP and emergency energy, it gets easier, but that wasn't till about halfway through the current game.

Now, I'd only knock two stars off for the above, but I also had to knock off a third star because of Salty deciding to lock one of the characters (Rapunzel) and a large chunk of content behind a Patreon paywall. I don't mind if it's a few scenes here and there, but an entire character and a large chunk of content in the game being locked behind a paywall... not something I can really support. I know that the codes for these scenes/character is available in the forums, but I find it ridiculous to lock characters behind a Patreon paywall and waiting for a kind soul to pass the code on.

I still believe that Once a Porn a Time has a lot of potential. But for right now, I have to drop my five star rating, to a two star rating for lack of sexual content and locking a large chunk of content behind a paywall. I know that the codes do make it on here within days of release, but that doesn't change the fact that this is hiding a good chunk of the game behind a paywall.

I like the direction this gaming is going. Plenty of directions to go for characters. Can't wait till next update! Would have like to get a little farther with the initial character but I guess I can wait.
