So my review of the game, spoilers ahead.
The game looks great, good audio and images. I like the cards game, probably being one of the few people who really enjoyes P&C. But I feel like its extremely unnecessary to be forced to play a new match in order to continue the main story. On P&C there were like 3 or 4 matches for each character throughout the game, and only in this update there is 8 forced ones to complete the whole content, plus an indefinite amout if you want to keep farming, which is insane. For the first playthrough is ok, but if there is 3 paths depending on what you decide to upgrade, its absurd the amount of time you will have to spend playing the card game, and its only the first update. I feel like its urgent to implement the skip match that was added in the last update of P&C, bcs if not, very few people will end the game.
I like that the previous games are mentiones, but if someone started the game and hasnt played the others, the start is very confusing, talking about events and people who you dont know about and stuff, so I feel like there should be a recap on whats happened before this game as an option for new players.
The card game itself is good, but there are some bugs that shouldnt be there. The archers sometimes dont hit their attacks, the Kingdom Recruit uses the First Strike even when the attack kills them, the preview of what will happen on the round is sometimes wrong, and at the start of the round you sometimes dont see what Aurora will use (this might not be a bug, just a game feature, since you shouldnt know what Aurora will play before she plays it, but in P&C you could see it, and in this game you sometimes see it and sometimes dont).
Pls let us get to the manu by right-clicking, its what every single game does, and having to use ESC or press the setting button is dumb. Last thing, the save manu, looks cool, but its weird, you cant name the files, you cant see the upgrades on the file, just use the typical grid save menu that everybody uses, and let people name the files please.
For a first release is a great start, but there is sure room for improvement, and even more for someone who has done already 4 games. Looking forward to next update
