VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Once in a Lifetime [v1.0] [Caribdis]

For any prospective player, this is a fun, engaging story which does not disappoint. It is far more enduring than some of the VNs here which, unless saved by imagery and/or eroticism, are little more than dull and boring (no pun intended) porn.

This is intimate rather than erotic but I was hooked and played it over the course of a week (I do other stuff too!) from start to finish. In the final analysis (is that what I am doing, analysing? Nah, get real, this is a VN) The experience was fun and did not disappoint. Trust me, that is high praise in a genre where plot is frequently, unimaginative, formulaic and, frankly, soooo dull. Thumbs up!

At the time of writing this review, this is probably the best HS model game I've played. At first I thought it was going to be another formulaic harem game, but I was wrong. Everything about this game is perfect, from the graphics to the music to the story. I really liked the humorous scenes, they fit in very organically and appropriately. The story itself is very enjoyable and interesting. Without a bunch of ramifications, you don't lose the thread of the narrative and understand the essence of what's going on. The characters of all the characters are very well written and you believe in their actions and motivations. The sex scenes look good, except that I wanted a little more fetish, but overall I was still satisfied. I would love to erase my memory to play this game again =)

This was one of the best games i ever played . Thanks dude for this excellent story !! The wedding scene was amazing with the music and everything. The scenes that should be funny in a dark themed game, were perfect and every girl path was really unique and really really nice.

Story - was original enough in comparison to a lot of games out here. The pacing of it was nice and not once I felt like it was dragging on for too long. Same with dialogues, did not feel that any single dialogue dragged on for too long.

The only negative part being the ending for me. Not the ending itself but the execution of it. Whether it was rushed or planned like that, I would have still preferred at least some playable scenes with each character and then get the ending we got.

Humor - it was good. For a moment I had to doublecheck if this guy was also working on Solvalley. The humor felt similar and those are the only 2 games that have me laughing so hard I take a break from the game itself.

Characters - all lovable and luckily not 100% cliche, like how MC usually gets along with younger sister and then older one treats MC like trash. Was good to see something else for a change.

Scenes/renders/animations - all were good. Animations were good and smooth. Renders seemed to keep up in quality while in animations and the scenes were also enjoyable in length.

This game is fucking great! I'm not overly fond of games made using Honey Select, but this is the best looking one I've played. The characters are great, especially the two sisters (Lauren #1)! The lewd scenes are pretty good too, especially as the game goes on, the dev clearly improved in later chapters. The thing that really elevates this game and makes it a cut above in my book though is the humor. Not only did I find myself consistently cracking up while playing this game, I actually had to take small breaks to just laugh here and there. Seriously, it's funny. I really recommend playing with a walkthrough though. The game has a lot of choices and seemingly unimportant decisions can lock you out of relationship paths, deny you seemingly unrelated scenes and even cause game overs. I wouldn't really call that a flaw, more of a gamedesign decision, but it's one I don't really have time for.

for me it is the best game on this site, the two sisters are so cute, the scene when the pianist start playing "i'm blue" at the church made me laugh so much, also the suspense is really immersive. can't wait for the prologue, if you can please support dev's work

I enjoyed this game a little too much and completed all endings...
Ahem, right, starts off really slow for character development and goes onto romance once you get to know girls. Choices you make aren't all that impactful (except for Jack and Tom memory wipe part), but they DO matter, if you want romance and special scenes.

Overall, interesting story and romance element was amazing. 5/5 for me. Also hoping to see more updates, because "This is just the beginning...".
Meanwhile, going to check out Eternium.

Possibly the funniest game I've ever played. The humor is great, it's not cringe like 99% of games out there. There wasn't a single character I didn't like, all of them rock. The whole plot, however, is silly, but it was fun nonetheless. Great game, 5 stars.

This is one of the top-rated games for a reason. I don't really need to say much, its a great story, and great hscenes. Really don't need a whole lot more. Other reviews cover this game in great detail, so I don't feel the need to. Just wanna say that I fully recommend this VN.

Really enjoyed the game, definitely would recommend others to try it out. However story feels rushed. I feel like there could have been and SHOULD have been a lot more romance. Take the characters like Rebecca and Jasmine for example, most of the time it was just a good dicking which caused them to fall in love with the character, there should have been a lot more progression with them and more school scenes. Game was extremely entertaining with its humor side and I really hope there's a sequel to it.

After the end I was sad for a moment but that just shows how nice the journey was up to then. I wish you success and would continue to pursue you and hopefully your next work will captivate me as well ^^

An extremely high quality game; really, it's a cut above a lot of the good VNs on this site. The choices actually matter and lead to different endings, the dialogue and writing is really solid (especially for an adult game), most of the jokes are pretty good, the lewd scenes are great and it never feels like you go too long without seeing one.

The one problem I have is that I wish there was some content after the harem ending. It would have been nice to be able to get some more scenes with everyone and seeing everyone else find out about each other's relationships. I don't know if that is something that Caribdis still plans on adding in the future but if not, I was slightly disappointed that we didn't get to see much after the "main story" ended.

Regardless, this is still an excellent game with a solid narrative, and even if you're just looking for a quick fap, it's got you covered there too! Excited to see how Caribdis's next project (Eternum) unfolds.

This game will entertain you for a whole day. I love how certain actions affect the ending (which definitely isn't original but far better than a straight forward vn). I wish I can play through this game again like it's my first time. Too bad that feeling can only be felt once in a lifetime.

An excellent experience that I barely find in NSFW games. The story is interesting and random to the level where I have no clue what will happen in the upcoming arc and every time I love it. The characters were memorable and the scenes are incredibly sexy. The girl's models are very hot, but the renders are somewhat low quality, but I didn't even notice this after a few minutes into the game. Humour was brilliant, there were times I was just wheezing in my room, so be careful clapping noises aren't the only thing you should be worried about while playing. after all, it has to be my favourite NSFW game out there.

Honestly, I didn't expect it to be this good. I just encountered this game randomly and i just download it, just to watch the H-scene. However, the storyline immediately attracted me and with the walkthrough mod, I finished the whole game.

The characters are well developed and they are just nice, it just gives you a feel that you must do something to protect them, and I do actually care about the endings this time.

All the renders, facial expressions and all those pop culture references just made the game even better. It's actually kinda sad though that similar games (at least for now), did not came to my mind. Hope the next game is gonna be even better!

One small advice for improvement: The name of 5 priest could be simpler, as figuring out who is who may take a bit of effort.

Other than that, really awesome game!! Love it!

Wow!!! what a wonderful story, obviously I used the walkthrough mod with the walkthrough in pdf and played for the harem ending (Always my preferred ending if possible). Facial expressions were a little weird for me but they work overall. Loved the renders, story, animation, scenes, etc. There was action, sex, comedy, and much more. It was like a Sci-Fi/Fantasy movie.

I didn't expect to like this game, but I gave it a shot and my goodness was I shock. It's a top tier game with a lot of quality of life spent developing each character. Your choices actually matters in terms of your love path and ending. Additionally, it has a lot of parody of pop culture which makes it very comedic. Definitely a favorite on my list. Do give it a try.

This game is awesome. I myself consider that i know about adult games because im picky. So, believe me, this is one of the best games i've played.

Even writting this review is a proof of how much i enjoyed playing the game because i've never done this before in any site that've used to download adult games. 10/10

This free game doenst deserve to be this good,
The game has a thick story, the characters are not plain, they have different personality and interactions. The render is good too, the model looks beautiful and hot.
I feel like I should pay to play this
