One day at a time... I haven't finished the current version, but I felt that I had to pause watching it and say that this VN is simply brilliant. Of course there is a romanticized side to it, and thank goodness otherwise it would be overwhelmingly depressing, but the essence of the drug-fuelled story is remarkably well done. The background details provided by the MC's inner dialogue are pertinent and impactful, and the ever-present notion of corruption gives this VN an edge that I have never experienced. It is beautiful as much as it is ugly, and while I guess that the choices will impact how hopeful or tragic the outcome, nobody will come out of this intact. Fabulous with a capital H!
