Not to be a downer and it's not a complaint but needs pointing out it's not confusing and unlikely to help with Patreon.
Patreon are a lot of things but even they will work out that the Landlady is actually MC's Step-Mom.
If the game also states as you have that she's MC's Dad's Wife then that makes her the MC's Step-Mom.
And thats still likely classed as Incest by Patreon as it is in some parts of the world.
So I wouldn't discount the chances of issues with Patreon in the future.
Just Sayin.

Thank you. I've read that couple times on this thread and decided to change the couple text passages from wife to friend/landlady. The user can still set the relationship to whatever they want.

Hi,

It's unlikely for this game, at least for now. I started working on it back in February with no prior experience in game or visual novel development, so the quality isn't where I'd like it to be yet. I don't want to go back and re-render old scenes, as I've seen other projects struggle with that. They spend too much time refactoring and lose motivation in the process. Additionally, my current GPU is limiting my work, but I'm upgrading next week, so all renders after V0.2 will be significantly improved. I've had to lower textures and make optimizations to fit within my current hardware's capabilities.

However, I'm considering releasing my next game on Steam. It will be much larger in scope (sandbox style) with more characters and content.

We're almost there with the V0.2.0 update, and to give you a sneak peek, here's a free render for the public!

This update introduces branching choices that will affect your journey. Depending on the decisions you make, you’ll experience different paths, endings(only two are planned), and even bonus scenes as rewards!

Also, my new GPU arrives this weekend! With this upgrade, you can expect a significant boost in visual quality. No more reducing texture quality, everything will look even better than before!

The build should be ready this weekend but I might delay it couple days just to render the animation with the new GPU.

Thank you for your continued support! Honestly, I didn't expect this much, especially as someone who jumped into the gamedev/3D field without prior experience.
