I can understand your point But given what was forwarded, it would only be logical to rationalize that the delay would be attributed to what was sent. Seems to me that it would just be a matter of common sense since it's only been a couple of months. Now if we were going into month Four, I could concur.

Some of you are likely asking what has happened over the last two months.
First and foremost, the game is not dead, and I will NOT let this project die. While the full rework has been a significant amount of work and I admittedly had thoughts of giving up and starting fresh, I am committed to seeing this through.
Looking Ahead to the Next Project
Regarding my future projects, I plan to purchase a new, more powerful PC to achieve the higher visual quality that is expected of a 3D Visual Novel. It wouldn't make sense to begin that project yet, but I have started working on the story. The main element will likely center around a revenge plot, though nothing is set in stone.
When is the Next Release?
Previously, I mentioned I was almost done with the ending of Day 4. That is still true, but I've changed my approach.
Instead of trying to work on the rework and the new content update simultaneously, I've decided to finish the entire rework first before adding any new story content. I noticed trying to juggle both was making me demotivated and slowing down progress on the new scenes.
This is the last major rework! I am only undertaking this massive task because I am committed to releasing the game on Steam and wanted to preemptively address any potential content rejections that might also affect other platforms.
I really hope that I can release it late December. Currently I am uncertain because there is still so much to do but if I work hard everyday(~80 scenes per day) that should be possible.
Rework Progress
So, how far along am I with the rework?
- I have finished the Intro and have almost finished Day 1. I have also started on Day 2.
- The Intro and Day 1 took the most time because I recreated almost every scene from scratch. On the following Days, I primarily just need to replace and update the characters.
- The Intro has been extended, and you will get to see the young main character once again!
- The body shape of the landlady has been altered because of some complications in the upcoming Day4 scenes.
in regard to the rework does this mean that the mother son relationship will be taken out in order to adhere to steams new policy with AVNs?

the mother son relationship is made by me. The original dialogue is a landlady relationship.
My fucking hero!! lmao I deadass forgot that that was even how the game was, since I instantly do I patches to games if it's actually what it is/how it really should be in story. Idc what people say! Incest done right and in games is hot af....well for me it really depends on a dad n daughter combo....a lot has to go a certain way for that to even work for me and 95% of the time it doesn't. Mother n son however! ehehe my fellow man, we ALL know the shits hot af if done right! plus who tf isn't into milfs?
(actual shit that feels like pedo stuff is the not right shit...well....) there are rare exceptions eheheh AH, IRL stuff btw....idk, idc what other people do it's their fucking business, a LOT of people need to learn the mind your own business and keep moving strat...guess to many people feel like a mc nowadays, when you and everyone else don't even matter at all in the grand scheme of things. Unless it's some actual really really bad fucked up shit and you see it? call the police then.

= I have been unmotivated to work on the game, and I'm going to keep lying to you, and a little bit to myself as well.
"...I am committed to seeing this through"
= I have no idea if I'm going to be interested to continue with this game, but I don't want you to stop giving me money.
"...I plan to purchase a new, more powerful PC..."
= I'm setting up for the most overused BS excuse for a delay: broken PC + not enough money = need more time.
"It wouldn't make sense to begin that project yet..."
= I kinda wanna drop this game and start on the next one already, but I don't want you to drop your support for thinking this game is now fucked.
"Previously, I mentioned I was almost done with the ending of Day 4. That is still true, but I've changed my approach."
= I lied about day 4, which is obivously still not done and will never be, because I'm dropping the original version.

"If, after all this, the main game gets rejected again I won't do another rework and just simply won't release on Steam."
- I'm gonna straight up abandon this game, should any problems arise after it's done.
I would sum this all like this:
- Expect the rework to be delayed at least once.
- If the rework is then delayed again, expect the game to be abandoned.
- If the dev delays telling the rework is delayed, even if they do communicate later = game is abandoned.
- The original version is dead. Don't expect any more updates for it.
- There's still a significant chance of the game getting abandoned soon-ish anyway.

I also patch every landlady game to mother/son it is much better to play games that way
Some games are impossible to patch because you need to literally change the whole text but most of them use a variable which you just need to replace to enable incest or any other relationship
