Review of 0.3.3c version

One of the best porn games I've come across in a long time. I never liked sandboxes in general but with this one, I'm really impressed. From the high quality level of the renders to the hot look of the girls, Oppai Odyssey is one of those games that must be played at least once in a lifetime.

Girls: All extremely hot, humans and not . My favorite is Noel... Are u ready captain?

Animations/Scenes: Top... nothing else to add ( I hope for more bj scenes in future updates )

Sandbox: not grindy but easy and perfectly done..you will never get bored... to unlock events and scenes you have to only click on the location where a girl is in that moment

Dev: one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (virtually of course), always active and available with all, patrons and not... I wish you all the best in this world

Pity that we can give only 5 stars because this game deserves more

Truly one of the best porn games I've come across in a long time. I was starting to think I wouldn't find any more hidden gems but this one exceeded all expectations. Here's Why:

Pros:

1. The animations are done really well imo. And there's no shortage of them. So far there are quite a bit of hot sex scenes to enjoy
2. The personalities of every girl are incredibly well done. None of their personalities come off as generic or a product of lazy writing. Each of them has a real personality and I love them all.
3. The main story progression is quite interesting. I enjoy it.

Cons:

1. The artwork isn't as great as I would like, but it's not bad either.
2. No sound effects in the game make it a little "unfeeling" during sex scenes.
3. No repeatable scenes with girls. You only get sex when you progress through their storylines.

Overall I give the game 5 stars because it's still in development and I had a blast playing through the current content. It has a ton of potential. Can't wait for more!

This game is like Mass Effect, but if you had stripped all the good things about it and put in a lot of smut.
Went in expecting blue alien ass, got none.

Great characters, awesome animations and renders, interactions are not bad or bland, the pacing might be a bit fast, but hey, at least you get to the "important" parts fast. One of the most anticipated games for sure. Hope the story goes deep and interacts with the world. Would love to see different species, their background a bit and such (kinda like Sunrider did, actually great story and conflict), enriching the world is always awesome. Hope this goes far! It has the potential to be a better "story game" (+ porn) than many normal story games on steam.

Beautiful characters with rich personalities and backstory that goes beyond their reasons being interested in the main character. The main story itself is fun and interesting, even without the beautiful girls distracting you.

The sex scenes are among the best I've encountered so far with dialogue that feels more like a romantic comedy than the B-grade porno you find in so many visual novels. There are enough sex scenes that you don't feel cheated or bored waiting for the next hot scene, but not so many that they start to feel cheap or pointless.

The graphics are incredible. I'd say it's in keeping with a blockbuster game from a AAA studio, but they don't usually put this much effort into the background scenery and images.

The only thing I don't like about this game is that now I have to find a way to fit it in my patron budget. (Because I want to see this game finish, not because of any patron-only extras or anything).

I tried this just by clicking games looking for something, i thought "meh still under 1 year, prbly doesnt have much", but, well this is very nice one and packed with good h-content!!

Very captivating and good looking girls!
It has great visuals and extremely well worked scenes to show off the attractiveness of the girls (esp Noel!!,also the scene of her just getting on that bicycle in the gym is super f-in sexy!) .
It has animations , very good ones, it changes angles and moves around too.

It has Gallery for the good stuff

The story is pretty simple but captures you if you are patience at start and dont skip the text, to get the idea and presentation, as we get more and more into space to discover all kind of planets and situations !

Also a small thing i like is the little secrets around that you can find, those give cool images , some are simple and cute , some very eye grabbing.

The system where you need to navigate thru the map is not confusing as other games, you will always see where a girl is and if u have an action there to do.

I dont know how the updates work but at v0.3.3 that i tried, it has a very good amount of h-scenes and story seems to actively advancing !

-->The most important point is: dev seems active, cares about the game and the people that are trying the game!

I enjoyed this one a lot and recommend to everyone to check for themselves !!

Please support the dev if you can, imo this type of dev deserves it, seems to be very serious in updating his game with actual content !

This VN is pretty good, with plenty of hot scenes but the story is kinda forgettable. Actually honestly I've completely forgotten what the story is about by the time of writing, so yeah. I played this a couple of weeks ago and I've recently decided to review the games I've played so I dont download them twice.

It's got a lot of nice things going for it, like the hot (and sometimes kinda interesting) characters and the SciFi universe, but it also makes a huge cardinal sin in the porn VN world:

It can't decide whether it's a sandbox game or a linear VN. Right now it's a mutilated hybrid of both. I seriously don't get why every game has to be a sandbox nowadays, especially when it adds absolutely nothing in terms of gameplay or interesting interactions. It's "event trigger hunting" where I just click on what's available. There are no concious choices by the player taking place at all. I just click on the event triggers randomly.

The sandbox style gameplay makes the story bits hard to follow, and it really adds nothing to this game, especially since there are no meaningful choices to make. If this dev would drop the pathetic attemt at sandbox gameplay and instead forcus on his strengths then I would definitely rate this game higher.

Dev has made a serious effort to improve since the posting of this review. Some points still stand, like the lack of meaningful choices and the "illusion of sandbox" but I'm still raising this game from a 3 to a 4 just because it's honestly better than average now and I feel it's only fair.

Visually one of the best porn games out there. The sex scenes are well-choreographed, the characters both interesting AND fuckable (a rare combination), and the overall story worth sticking it out for. Really, really surprised by how much I liked it.

That the dev keeps on such a good update pace so far is also a strong reason to keep up with this one.

As a fan of big tits and space babes, this game has everything I want and more. The characters are cute, with good models. The setting is fun and the story, while nothing crazy, is functional and interesting. Even though most of the girls have larger breasts, their body types are still diverse and their personalities are distinct.

I have to say that this is a big surprise for me. seeing renders here I thought it is just another of "those" games, but it is a big mistake. story is great, writing is good too, girls are sexy and animations are in top 1% of all games here. I just hope I will not have to wait too long for next update.


Only one suggestion that I have for DEV is...... try to be more innovative with sex positions. I know it will be nightmare to animate but some reverse cowgirl, sidesex, 69...etc....

Its not a Visual Novel, you dont have any decisions that alter the way the game goes.
Your MC is considered to be the shmartesht and beshtesht boy in the Spaceship Academy, yet the decisionmaking, which you cant influence, cause kinetic novel, is inconsistent, and just plain stupid.

The plotholes and tropes are bigger than the emptiness inbetween the stars:
- your doc roofies you on your space health check, you have never met her before, despite being captain, AND youre fine with it (like WTF ?)
- spaceship academy consist of like, 6 people or so, idk i forgot
- your teacher has hots for you, and no matter if you decline her, she'll send you tiddie pics
- you have no clue about anything, appearently
- after your doc rapes you on final health exam/vitals check, you meet her again on board, cause reasons, she pumps rape drug into ship vent, and youre like 'okai, dats fine'
- also get all nervous and insecure, cause reasons
- you childhood BFF has hots for you, and her big sis is starship admiral

Now, most of the above can be forgiven, cause porn logic, and im here to jack off, not read a literary masterpiece, right ?

What drove me off, was the forced femdon scene, where you're not given any choice or influence over the story, on how it plays out, Youre a beta wimp, cause the dev says so, and thats it. Dont get me started about the genious decicion making of the MC that leads up to the femdom either, thats a whole other mess.

Also, fuck that clicking around bullshit during H-Scenes. Like what kind of brainfart did you have to think its a good thing to put in choices during H-Scenes, if you either want to advance or rollback ? Like bruh, i got a mousewheel, nn for that trash, just let me advance via spacebar.

Fantastic game! The gameplay is really engaging, even though it's just a VN, it makes progression with each girl not feel much of a grind. Story is quite good being sci-fi and the girl variety is also quite nice since you go on planets and meet new girls.

Oh, and the animations are INCREDIBLE. Really fluid, with great motion.

v0.3.2 at time of review

Visually stunning with some of the best animations I've seen. Well developed female characters who are easy to fall in love with and have distinct personalities. An MC who is neither a sociopathic brute nor a doormat (but see below for a caveat on this). Hot aliens. Interstellar intrigue. Romance. Quality writing and a creator who not only has a vision of where this VN is going to go, but who is very responsive on forums. A good balance between plot and "plot" with some early sex scenes but also some nice romantic development to provide balance.

Be aware that there are some light femdom and bdsm events (largely avoidable) and some plot essential sexual encounters that might not be totally consensual . Breast sizes are large, but several of the characters would best be described as amazons and have the height to carry this off.

Plays as a VN when the crew make planetfall and as a sandbox when the ship is in space (travel between planets takes a couple of game weeks). No walkthrough but the ship map identifies where characters are, and whether you have a new interaction at their location. Time skip available with fast travel.

A decent, non-generic story, exellent renders and animations (they belong in the upper tier of all games here, in my opinion!) and no heavy grinding at all.
You sometimes need to skip several days ingame (which is easy, as there is a skip-button for it) in order to progress/ trigger the next event, and the map in the upper right corner always shows you whenever a new one is available - smart and comfortable.
Most of the women's "gifts" are overinflated, but that's very okay with me :3
I can recommend this game at its current state and am eager to further development.

Super good game, highly recommend. It's a newer game but has a good amount of content to check out already.

It's a relaxed game with great story and wonderful characters! The sandbox mode is not tedious in any way, it even tells you where to click, it's there in a good way to give you the feel of the ship.
Nyx is amazing, the greenhaired one if you're a femdom fan like me, but there are many other good characters.
give it a try! you won't regret it! 5/5!

I'm a sucker for sci-fi and this game is great in my book. Love the mini adventures and the time off with the crew between them. The characters are interesting and different. Renders are good with some rough edges here and there, there are good animations and prolonged h scenes.

Sandbox on the ship is not annoying and is easy to navigate/go through.
I don't remember there being meaningful choices, most are just to accept or to deny a scene IIRC.

Looking forward to the next updates and seeing where the storyline goes.

Well I m not really good with winded post so I try to keep it brief.

Girls in this game looks amazing, I could say there is no subpar looking main girls or side girls. they all have really good faces on them and great body work, none of them look the same but still retain really attractive looks.

Story atm is bit light hearted with your typical sci-fi space crew hi-jinx, but that helps to build character writing for crew and give them more personality to make that sexy time worth it . Story it self is kinda split in two parts linear main plot and space ship event based sandbox, personally I think those two work well together sandbox gives break from main story bits and main story gives more substance for plot and girls themselves.

Oppai odyssey is pretty much one of better or close to best looking HS 2 based games I seen. It has a lot of effort put into in game CGs with lighting posing and the back drop girls are in show a lot of detail and care in those to, so quality of images shown in game is really high

Best for last. Animations, nothing can be said more when they are freaking amazing, actually pretty much best there is for ren'py based vns. Played this game from 0.2.1.7 to now current version 0.3.1 and I can say animation work improved crazy lot from start of the game to now, but thing is first animated scenes still were better than majority offering you can find else there.

Cons:
-Because it is early in development game has lack of music, so it has only single track.
-Play on horny gas gimmick too much at start of the story
-Has secondary male character to get bullied (justice for alex)
-Atm of review some girls are under utilized
-LACK OF HEAD PATS, bitches deserve them head pats
-Needs more Justice and Flatness. -w-
