Yeah, a lot of them are switching. There's really nothing better for something like this. In house engine you have to maintain and it won't be as good as Renpy anyhow. Tyrano is just unbelievably shitty (ditto for the other common Japanese VN engines like Kirakira which freezes if fullscreened), though it's drag and drop so if you can't code at all you can crap out something in Tyrano. You can't trust Unity and it's unbelievably tedious to get your game up to Renpy's level of basic user features, like rollback. Ditto for Unreal and it's complete overkill.Renpy? Miel uses Renpy these days?
Well, vndb actually has the tags properly seperated. Even has netorare separated in different types as well. That said, just based on the synopsis I'm not sure it's appropriate in this case.Does it have ntr or not? Cuz vndb has ntr tag but maybe that's netori and not netorare
Not necessarily true. It's extremely rare but, Miel does step outside the box sometimes. They have at least 2 games that are netorare. One of which is here. It's Miel, they dont do netorare. At most they do netori
I don't agree calling VN, games, since you are on a line from A to B, and that's it. Your gameplay here is clicking to skip or go to the next dialogue...Personaly I'm happy whenever they appear.
I mean sure, they don't get better, but you know what to expect. Miel games are like cheap fast food. It's not fine dining, but it's also not supposed to be.
Wether you agree or not is irrelevant, Visual Novels are categorized as games by all platforms. And if we really wanna split hairs ( which I find pointless anyways but let's try ), that ''clicking'' for the next line, and also the choice making many visual novels provide ( other than the Kinetic ones ), could be argued is enough reader interaction to make it a game.I don't agree calling VN, games, since you are on a line from A to B, and that's it. Cherry kiss the publisher handling translation ports all their games on renpy before selling them in the west.Renpy? Miel uses Renpy these days?
That would be usefulIs it too much work to program a Netori tag? Not even being sarcastic here.
