Again, I dislike the implementation not the character, it's not that I "can't stand her", she's just the "ex" the MC ends up having sex with again you see in so many other games, she herself doesn't bother me. What I "can't stand" is the idea that there are choices surrounding her that don't really change the outcomes. For example, if you give two choices, and both lead to sex, what's the point of the choice besides flavor text? That's what annoys me, and what would make me skip through her non-sex scenes, not her character.
MC is far from innocent, we know he's a piece of shit like five minutes into the game lol, he says it himself. Whether its by fate or his own actions though, the issue I have again with how he keeps running into her is with the implementation. You're the Dev, you know things we don't, this is just the perspective of one player, playing for the first time who doesn't know what you know. As a player, I don't need to know everything about the MC, but if he's just stalking his ex to make her jealous why not let the player be more privy to that plan so that it doesn't come off as plot contrivance? If she really traumatized him so badly why would I assume that he's seeing her by choice as he constantly says he wants to stay away from her?
It's not like his motives are all that deep, why make the player guess? We can hear the mental play-by-play of why he wants his new girl to suck his meat a certain way but not why he's actively running into someone who supposedly hurt him?
Like at the end of the day its a porn game, I'm not expecting Shakespeare or anything, just a plot connecting the sex scenes that doesn't feel too forced (again, its porn, some plot points are going to be forced regardless, especially with the supernatural elements at play).
At the end of the day, this isn't an argument or a debate. Just me giving you the the thoughts of one player of your game that others may or may not share. Again, I'm a new player, I didn't play when there was apparently a sandbox in the game, but thankfully you took that feedback and got rid of it but now I'm just hoping this didn't basically turn into a kinetic novel as a result.
