I mean, I thought this was pretty clear...
Wow, all this over a quick scene with Parker hooking up with a rando in a flashback when she was not in a relationship with anyone at the time...weird.
While here I am more annoyed that the MC gets ditched on the side of the road by Steel and he sits his ass down and sulks and doesn't just start walking home or even better calls Todd for a lift home getting Steel in massive trouble for her choice of punishments.
But seriously the MC just acts like the writer is 15 with some of the choices of his dialogue it's a little painful, but at least it's all in good fun so far. lol

Yeah, Steel could have gotten some real blowback for ditching her bodyguard duties for that little scene. Especially when MC shows up with bruises.
But in his defence, he likely expected that Ruth would come back and it was a temporary punishment. IIRC, it was just a flash of images, so we can't be sure. But he knows she's temperamental, but also has a sense of duty. So that felt like within bounds of expected behaviour.

Oh, the problem is because of the nature of the need? Because it is sexual? Or, because it was a woman doing it?
Now, we have to classify needs, according to your rating of it? These are important, these aren't... Or, is it that because she is a woman, she needs to forgo any thought of relief and simply stay there and endure the discomfort? Because, you don't recognize her right to self determination to do what she wants when she wants?
Disappearing, was so shitty, that the birthday boy, the MC, went after her too, to take care of his own need. That's why you even find out that it happened. He can do it. She can't. So what if the need is different, it is still a need, it is still felt and it is still meaningless.
Please spare me the morals. What this is is pure and simple misogyny. You simply aren't used to have it thrown back at you.
Relax. You can refuse her later. Or, don't... No one really cares what you do.

A bit late getting around to the update (didn't realize the update was out until yesterday lol).
Oh well, better late than never.
And Jacquesdor, congrats on another really fine update.
It was solid and I enjoyed it a lot; while it terms of main story (i.e. conspiracy, the main antagonists, why the antagonists want MC etc), it didn't really move much, I think there were huge leaps in the characterizations, particularly with Ruth (Lady Steel) & Amber (and we got a glimpse of what Amber may look like, nice!).
Though ngl, I did really like Ghostraven and Coldsnap appearances too.

Yes, I concur that it's Lady Steel you want when it comes to knowledge relating to picking up chicks.7) Not a question, but a reaction. There's couple of good Wing-woman in AVN-sphere, but I have to say Ruth (Lady Steel) is right at the top up there with the best of the best.

A lot seems to have to be ignored just so you can happily call people out for misogyny. I'm not in the state to fight you point by point, but you're wrong. It's not because it's a woman doing it. It's easy to go back through my recent posts and see that. But I'm a straw-person to you, so whatever.
Going to take a piss (a basic human need) isn't the same as indulging a personal indulgence (you aren't going to wet the floor and your outfit by not fucking the waiter). Comparing the two is dishonest.
Parker can fuck whoever she wants, but some judgement about the when and where would bring her closer to societal norms. If she doesn't want to abide by those norms, she won't be respected by them. I don't think it's quite as extreme as that, just she was kinda shitty one night, and that is a single piece of evidence of what kind of person she is. For those that had MC not abide to the pact and fuck around, that's really shitty too. If the MC had left the table to fuck someone and it was Parker or her Daughter's special day, yeah, he's the ass in this situation.
I like Parker. Look forward to more of her. She's sus as hell, maybe part of some insurgency, and that's even better. But my only point is she could have delayed 1 day to fuck the waiter. Find a more elegant time. Grab digits and sort it out after the birthday dinner. Not saying she shouldn't get some strange to spice up her day, just...don't when it's your semi-adoptive kids BD? Like, if your parents split, and one of your parents dragged you out and then decided to abandon you to go hook up with a random, how would that make you feel? This is a smaller version of that. It's inconsiderate. They shouldn't be burnt at the stake or abandoned, but the behaviour could and should be called out as hurtful to others. Are they allowed to do it? Of course. But there are consequences for selfish actions, and that's people don't like to be around selfish people.

Still though, again.. If the MC wasn't really offended even on his birthday dinner, then I don't really see the problem. I think instead of worrying about what is normal in society or what is acceptable to <Insert F95 poster>, I think it's better to consider what is normal in Parker and MC's relationship and within her household. And it's obviously a very sexually open household. That's reinforced several times through the VN already.
Besides, real world societal norms really don't always apply to porn games. Otherwise, people would be losing their shit over all the moms getting plowed by her son in 90% of them. Parker's a cougar, she saw a cute waiter and clam-chowed-her was on the menu. Simple as that. She was written to be a sexual creature with a high sex drive, and she's definitely very much that.

Honestly at this point I just think what's happening to Parker is the same as with Evelyn since everyone keeps saying her obsession with the MC is a little intense, from the conversation Scarlett had about his powers to the person on the phone it's clear he's more dangerous then people know yet, and now with the Sisterhood being drawn to him it seems like it's an attraction thing...maybe he's even a engineered meta how could people know about his powers before they even manifested.

Parker and MC's parents were (and are) involved in the vax effort. MC could be a result of that (hypothetical) experimental engineering. That'd explain why Parker was so ready to take him in. But it's just a theory at this point.

The MC is certainly unique and the eventual power struggle of both keeping us in check and also the potential to possible join villainy is there. Question is though is who exactly are we as a whole. Why is there a target on our back when seemingly we were just a regular dude. Questions aplenty.

That's a much more reasoned and rational perspective to champion.
And honestly I'm split. Part of me is okay slip streaming behind the MC and trying to RP as him, part of me thinks that I should have more autonomy if I'm supposed to get invested in this character I'm playing as. I've said before, none of this is a deal breaker for me.
The game is good. I personally don't think the birthday dinner should be considered in a positive light, and it's not (totally) the sex part. I've had evenings when I was supposed to hang out with someone in particular, and then they split off to do something/someone else. It's shitty. It's not just indulging their impulses, it's showing that the person they came to the party with is really far down on the list of their priorities. May they have reasons for it? Probably. But are they good enough reasons to excuse the hurt they cause others? In my mind, probably not. If it isn't urgent or important, it ends up being inconsiderate and selfish. We can forgive selfish people, especially if they aren't that all the time. But denying it is selfish seems like gaslighting or something.
Have you noticed that most complaints about Parker are about the restaurant, but not about the guys she's brought home throughout the backstory? Does that not imply its the context of the action, not the action itself that is the issue for folk? There may be a tiny majority saying Parker can never have any fun, but that's not my position. Let her have all the fun. But the dev chose to highlight a scene at the MC's very subdued BD party where she stepped out to do a thing, and the MC had an option to go all voyeur about it. And that says things. Not end of the world things, but still. Anywho, I'm likely losing the point at this junction, so I'll just stop.

SERIOUSLY! The only reason it doesn't get brought up more, imo, is that there's no new evidence. But it is so sus that Tiger guy calls out the MC by name before trying to murderate him. Everyone else seems way too chill about this (on the surface at least, though they may be doing that to try and lower the chances MC is going to freak out and run off somewhere where they can't protect him). The obvious answer is it's something to do with his 'dead' parents legacy. If he's a nobody as an individual, then him being a target has to be linked to something else, likely something inherent to who he is, or what he may be able to do.
Now that people might be able to find out about his powers, all bets are off. Honestly, as the Principal pointed out (dickishly), the MC could turn into a nightmare with his ability to collect powers. Lots of motives to stop him now. But before he manifested? That's the good mystery shit right there.

One of the best parts of ch. 4 is that the chances of MC and Ruth having some fun times isn't crazy ridiculous, but just probably a bit unlikely (in world, which makes it almost certain from the meta). I look forward to Eve cheerleading/wing-womaning the MC as events come to pass.

Im not a self insert player but at the same time i still dont just "accept" the thoughts and feelings of the mc's, i usually try to ignore them. Its one of my very few critics of this avn that we are shown way too many of the thoughts of the mc, he would be a better character without it as its usually just obsessive perving over asses, tits and any women. I dont really mind it and usually just more or less overread/ignore inner monologue of mc's but yeah, im not able to copy the mindset of a sex-obsessed freak
I never considered Parker, not into milfs in general, as a LI and i really dont care about her having a sexlife, i thought it was somewhat comedic, the sex obsessed (smart) bimbo milf
But i think its still completly understandable to not like behavior like that from a potential romantic partner for the guys who were into her and got disappointed about it. Its like realising the girl your crushing on isnt the person you thought/imagined/fantasized she is.
And i dunno if "judging" behavior like that is just about her being a women, the mc can obviously always fuck everything and everyone in avns without any judgement
but i think a "uncle" or "dad" character getting a blowjob from a waitress on the mc's birthday would be considered a sleazebag at bestWhatever, i think the scene gives her character but its not the character i would be looking for in a LI
