I have a suspicion that the MC doesn't have a choice when it comes to Parker being on his mind and his reaction to her. I suspect Parker isn't as "powerless" as most are assuming. That applies in game and with the reader. There are too many bread crumbs in the text to suggest that the MC's inner monologue about Parker and Riley at the start were "as he knew it" and not absolute facts.

Read that section a little more open minded to how it's worded and start paying attention to all the subtle mentions of Parker's influence on peoples state of mind and such. There are at least 20 such subtle hints that Parker can influence people and it's not just be showing her tits.

Very good point. I did notice that Parker had persuaded the board not only to continue to fund development of the vaccine, but also to increase it when they were about to just about drop it.
There's definitely more to her than implants.

Speaking of, and I may remember this wrong or perhaps I just read a little too quickly.
I think it was on his birthday, didn't she say she had implants only to say the opposite in chapter 4 or 5.

No idea about her implants, really don't care as long I get to play with them beauties! But yeah, she definitely knows more than she let's on. I still say she's working with some kind of "resistance" against the government.
