You're probably right. I wasn't much of a book nerd back when I was a child. I was mainly absorbed with my studies, sports and working out. Which didn't leave much time for recreational reading.

oh man, ain't that the truth... when I was young and where I lived, there wasn't much to do other than watch shitty TV maybe, which didn't really interest me, or read. My dad had an awesome book collection at home, and otherwise I had half the library in my room at times
Nowadays I read a lot less books though, if you don't count AVNs that is. I'm trying to get back to it somewhat, I finished 3 shorter novels in the past week which is kinda rare. Audiobooks are much more convenient these days, I can listen to those when I'm doing chores or whatever.

Well, where I grew up, there wasn't even TV. My father worked for a rather large Bank, they had a type of a Country Club, that was were I spent my afternoons, School in the Morning, then unrestricted use of a Club that was mostly frequented by Retired former Directors of the Bank. It had a swimming pool, but that's where the Old Farts spent the afternoons getting drunk and talking about their glory days. Or, I could go to the Library, alone, sit in luxurious Green leather sofas, and read whatever the fuck I fancied. This was in Africa...
So I read... and read... and read... I have to also say, that I was a VERY fast reader.

that's why I don't like when devs give out AVN metrics for an update like play-time. Reading speed is very subjective, and I also read very fast (even though english is not my native language). I'd rather they stick to render count, that one is much better.So I read... and read... and read... I have to also say, that I was a VERY fast reader.

I really don't want to go down a huge rabbit hole of what is or isn't ethical but I have to ask what makes someone ethical. Does every single choice they ever make in their life have to be ethical to be an ethical person if that is the case then there may not be a single ethical person on the planet (excluding people under a certain age at least). I really don't have much of a view when it comes to billionaires but I wouldn't lump them all together at the least there are very bad billionaires and at least in my opinion billionaires who truly do want to make the world into a better place even if they might do somethings in a miss guided way. I won't elaborate on that statement any further A) because I said to much already and B) because I don't want this to get into an argument with no true winner. I am genuinely just curious how ethical do you have to be to be considered an ethical person.

I think the term 'ethical' is flawed in of itself. Being ethical is just adhering to moral principles, but it doesn't specify that it has to be socially accepted moral principles, meaning that a serial killer that only targets redheads would technically be 'ethical' if he does kill a redhead as he is only adhering to his own moral principles. I think the correct term would be "There are no billionaires who aren't morally reprehensible" since you have to do some fucked up shit to a lot of people in order to become a billionaire to begin with.
Ackshully... Morals and ethics aren't the same thing. Similar, but separate from each other.
Morals are an individual thing, belonging to a person. Ethics are an external thing imposed by a group or community as rules and standards that must be adhered to.
An ethical requirement is not always a moral one - It is an ethical requirement in many countries that paedophiles are treated with the same rights under the law. That is in no way a moral thing to have happen in the eyes of many.
No. Serial killers have no morality. They don't see what they do as being right or wrong, good or bad, and unless they're part of some organised serial killer group/community/clubhouse, then they've no radical alternative ethical code or rules for them to adhere to either.

Ackshually, you are right in that morals and ethics aren't the same, however ethics are the moral principles that guides a persons behaviour, it is in fact not anything external by definition though it can be depending on the context.

Like, you do realize that both are contingent on eachother, and both can be applied in a personal or societal manner? Us, as a society, can talk about morals and it applies fully. You, as an individual, can talk about your ethics and it applies fully.
You can personally find something unethical, like using elbow strikes in an MMA fight, while the sanctioning body can find it fully ethical for example.
I don't know how to strip it down further and to reiterate that thinking of these as terms set in stone is a remarkably foolish idea. If that was the case, then the only use for ethics would be within the field of medicine as it has a far older precedence as a specific term as the first code of medical ethics was published in the 5th century.
And if you want to get even more anal about it, what do you actually see as ethics? Kantian ethics? Utilitarianism? All of them are simply personal moral values derived from the individuals writing the literary work to support them, as any ethical philosophy is simply an individual musing about what what people ought to do or which behaviour is morally right.
I won't go further into this because it's honestly idiotic to wax poetic about philosophy and the meaning of ethics or morality on a porn forum, but I really shouldn't have to point out that there's a difference between societal ethics, personal ethics, medical ethics, judiciary ethics etc, with each of them being equally viable.
