OK Tin Foil Hat moment
Riley lied to Parker about the vaccine so she's hiding behind Ghostraven
or
Riley is in cahoots with Parker against MTF and is therefore acting from the inside as Ghostraven

my Tinfoil hat

if she is Ghostraven like we suspect. I think it's a bit of both. I think Riley lied and Parker knows about it but doesn't let her know because of whatever she is doing. I think she is probably helped to put together the Sisterhood behind the shadows somehow without them knowing.

Honestly, the biggest turnoff about Riley being Ghostraven would be the mc's cluelessness.
One of the most tiresome tropes of adult novels is often times the mc is either too dumb or to engrossed in fucking that he is the last one to find out about important stuff.
Really hope jdor won't let MC be a naive guy unknowingly being pushed around by Parker, the MTF or whoever else tries to.

I kinda suspect MC would notice if his his sis were abnormally strong and dextrous. Not to mention the extensive combat training and a british accent. Also the side-by-sides I personally don't find convincing. But it could be - in fiction.
Let's get this straight MC has Evelyn humping his leg since chapter 1 and doesn't realize she has a monster crush on him; He's not the sharpest tool in the shed

Yep, not one of his brightest moments. I can chalk that up to his low self-esteem on not having powers but the excuse is shallow at best, I admit.
I also understand him being a bit dumb about things happening around him in the latest chapters because he has just been introduced to the superhero world and it hasn't been 2 weeks since he was attacked, so a lot of confusion and new situations to think and research about. I'll stop rambling about it and just expect him to catch up and develop well in the upcoming releases

Except as far as we know and have been told, she didn't act like that before the events of Chapter 1. They had made the pact, that probably should have been a hint, but they were both firmly in BFF territory and people tend to go blind to actual romantic interest at that point. He's still a teenager, and every teenager is stupid to some extent, mostly due to a lack of experience and an abundance of arrogance.

I could be misremembering, but in every flashback Evelyn isn't very subtle about it.

MC is living the old tale of the tiger who gets a tiger body, but his reflexes and his fears are still those of a mouse: he fears the bullying superpowered bullies all around him, he loves the adverts about the superhero women bombshells, but face to face, he cannot cope with man-eaters and their fashion of how they like to dishearten the males, all of whom they consider, as a collective, as a bunch of hapless simps under their authoritarian thumbs.

We also have a bunch of member berries from some photos from the past of MC: MC is not anything special with Evie, it is another girl who fancies MC like a life partner, rather than a simp: the invisible sweetheart.

Evie likes to block guys around her but she keeps them firmly locked in their simp friend zone cages. It is something girls do when they do not like to participate in anything, but simply enjoy seeing the guys break their necks to fulfill their most nonsensical requests.
