But which of them gets it? I mean Cat is sending out powered copies of herself, but receiving powers could work differently.

The question is, is Cat's clone capable of making another clone? Carrying a passive gene and being able to use the power could be two different things

Something I don't remember being speculated about on here is what happens when absorbing duplicate powers? Is it even possible?
Most if not all the powers we've actually encountered have been seemingly unique. There might be people with similar powers, but not the same. Like the emerald and sapphire energy powers, similar but different. We know that lots of people have the same powers, there are entire countries dedicated to some of the more "troubling" ones.
So what happens to MC engages in sexual contact (such that he can copy someones power) with two different people who share a power? Does anything happen? Are the genetic code for all common powers identical? Does that even matter when it comes to magical ability granting exohuman viral genetics? MC can already have multiple powers added to his power genes, can he add duplicates? If so what happens? Does it stack? Does it change how his powers work?
Personally I think it'd be cool if it varied from power to power, like if MC copied a second Wolf Summoning power, if might make his wolf being and stronger etc. Or if he copied the emerald and sapphire energy powers would they interact at all? Would MC be able to fuse the powers? Would they each inherently make the other less draining to use and easier to control?

an even better question is... can MC's clones use the powers he collected? Coz people would be in for a bad day when suddenly a small army of clones pop up and all of them start blasting
