I haven't played so excuse if this is an ignorant question but is the LI avoidable? If so, I completely agree. If not, then they should be likable in the slightest which based on other's reviews, she is not.
If memory serves, Parker is one of the unavoidable LIs.

She's interested in you no matter what, but the player has had no real romantic or lewd interactions with her so far. The only lewd things we see from her is if the player decides to peek on her doing lewd things with others while she thinks about you.

Yea, but if you look at the harem tracker, there are different symbols for side girls who are completely optional, and main girls who I believe aren't.

The side girls get tracked for if you started having casual sex with them or not, the main girls get tracked for if the relationship has started yet or not.

I think. The explanation was only shown once during the HUD tutorial and wasn't super clear

That's incorrect. Asides from 1-2 unavoidable sex scenes early on, every LI (main or side) is optional in terms of having a sexual/romantic relationship with them. You've already had the choice of whether or not to continue relationships with Moonsong, Evelyn, and Amber and they are all main LIs.

You won't avoid them entirely if you decline though, since you'll still be friends or whatever other relationship exists.

That said, it's generally recommended to go full manwhore unless you can't stand a LI. It's designed primarily to be a harem game, and you'll get a lot less content if you focus on just one girl, for example.

Hey all, a two part (to his surprise) custom request today from Sour, who wanted to see a Mortal Kombat inspired Coldsnap Vs Inferno. Part 2 of this a little too much for Patreon, so check it in the discord.

Echoing that there are unavoidable interactions with an LI, Georgia, but everything else is avoidable. The first interaction is 100% story relevant.

I think numerous players are going to avoid a relationship with Parker, though. Even ignoring the dinner flashback, she's manipulative and keeping things about the MC from the MC and if she gives the "I did it to protect you" bullshit excuse, it'll just make her look worse. She would have to go through one hell of a redemption arc to be likable. And likability aside, she seems to lean towards FemDom, which is another thing that may make players think twice about interacting with her.

Something to keep in mind with Parker: if she is keeping stuff from him for his protection, it's a bit different than in the real world. Even if MC tells no one, in a world with telepaths, precogs, etc MC could legit be at greater risk knowing things before he "needs to know." Imagine as an example if someone dangerous had a power like Evelyn's they were using to keep tabs on him, or someone in the MTF that can tell when someone is lying and interrogates him, etc.

She definitely seems to be a divisive character though either way.

There are already people who are keeping tabs on him and people who know of him that he doesn't know. Remember, the person who tried to kill him knew him by name.

So yeah, dangerous world.

Well, took a while to get through and.. not entirely sure what I feel about it. One one hand there are some interesting characters but a fair few of them feel strangely flat if that makes sense?
The plot is kind of interesting but my god the MC could have had a much more interesting power than "MC MAGIC DICK GUD, BRAIN GO MUSH" type shit. Like, you're working within the constraints of unbridled imagination, I feel like there could have been something more interesting that still would have worked within the framework of "good guys want him, bad guys want him".

I think Evelyn could have used a lot more exploration to make her feel less flat, having some conversations about her fears and apprehensions and where she might want the relationship to go would've made her more interesting than being so gung-ho about the MC dippin' tip in anything that breathes with a useful power.

Parker's daughter (I genuinely cannot even remember her name) feels utterly superfluous at this point of the game. We know nothing about her except what she works with, she's basically contributed nothing other than being a slight plot mcguffin (to put MC into contact with Lake) and she just feels like she doesn't matter in the grand scheme of.. anything really.

Would be the most logical subversion of expectation as we're expected to think that Scarlet Shadow is a bad guy and connected to bad guys given that we've heard about her killing people.

Amber is honestly one of my favourite VN LI's, while some other characters were flat, Amber was knocked out of the park imo. She puts up a tough front but it's pretty easy to tell that she's got some problems even with her being invisible, then she gets really vulnerable with the MC and the entire pacing of it and framing is just super well done. Ends up being very wholesome and she's generally just a really interesting person (discounting the invisibility perv shit).

Steel is also very well done, complex character with some heavy backstory but handled quite well. Can't really tell much with the other supes, Moonmoon and green chick were both pretty flat aswell at this point in time.

Honestly it's hard for me to pinpoint exactly why certain characters feel a bit flat, because looking at them objectively and the dialogue etc, they should work just fine.

I'll be checking out the updates from now on since decent superpower games are pretty rare honestly, I can't remember coming across another one that wasn't just mindless pornfodder before, even though this toes the line from time to time with the MC having 'ugly fat bastard magic dick' hentai powers to just seduce every living female.

Yes, from the scene where Scarlet Shadow enters the bedroom with the sleeping MC and leaves without doing anything, I already suspect that she is not the villain that the news makes her out to be.

Parker is not a villain, most likely she's working behind the scenes against the government.
