This is one of my world famous anti-derp MC rants. No need to read it. Just venting. 
I will never understand putting in all this work on a good story, good models and fairly snappy dialog only to destroy it with a derp MC. This guy is really bad. Girl comes into your bedroom and says she wants to have sex with you. 22 lines of "What?, I don't understand? What's going on? Why? How?" She even calls him stupid.
Then they need liquor and condom. Roommate hooks him up with the girl at the convenience store so he can get some without ID. Does he walk in and tell her who he is? Nope. Does he ask for alcohol? Nope. A girl is waiting to fuck your brains out and you spend the next 15 lines of dialog asking the clerk about the store, how it works, how do you stock it, do you have to pay, why you can't step behind the line, threaten to do it anyway. Finally he actually asks for what he wants. Ultra moron.
Plus he has the AVN trope behavior that he's instantly got a full hard on just from glancing at a woman's breasts that are covered by a shirt. "I can't control it! It won't go away! Whaaaaa! It's not my fault! I'm not to blame!"
I know lots of folks play differently than I do and for them it's just comedy. No shade. However, I'm an immersion player but it's damn hard to immerse when the character is a self cock blocking idiot with no dick control and an inability to shut the fuck up. Now to be fair, I recently played a title where the MC started out like a sad sack and got better. Hopefully that's still possible in this title but I'm not very hopeful. Too bad because the story seemed kind of cool.
