Overview:​

The story of Orionide begins with nameable characters, here called James and Rose. They've been stuck in their monotonous relationship for a while when a fight breaks out between them and the player joins them to help James make three decisions which will change their lives – most importantly their sex lives – forever.

There's a fetish for just about anyone. Keep the comments to the game play, bugs, and opinions relating to the game.
But don't go after the sizes of the girls. I know it's not for everyone and I'm certain the developer knows that. The developer may be doing that for a good reason. So, I'll download this and give it a try. Hey- I'm brave, aren't I? Yup!

it's not the size that's the problem. it's that the shapes are all unnatural looking.

1st screenshot: look at that odd indentation of the tan girls stomach by her elbow. her back is pretty much a straight line until you get to her ass, then it's this extreme curve. not to mention that deep crevice along where her spine should be.

2nd screenshot: in this one, the back curve isn't nearly as sudden or sharp but still looks painful. instead of a sudden sharp curve near the ass, it looks almost as if she's folding in half only backwards. under the left elbow is a better view of that unnatural indentation in her mid-section and the spine crevice is more easily viewed as well.

overall this character model is just painful to look at in general.

3rd and 5th screenshots (assuming it's the same male in both pics): well...he SEEMS normal enough. i've seen that kind of physique in irl porn vids on sites like pornhub so that's not unnatural but... maybe this guy just has a case of uncanny valley? not sure.

4th and 6th screenshots: ok, that weird, unnatural looking, belly thing is on full display here. i mean, no humans belly is shaped like that at all. i mean, i'm not exactly small myself but the fatter a persons mid-section gets the more spherical in shape it is as it expands. if that's what the dev was going for with these girls (making them + size) then they failed...badly.

also, why does she have some bizarre bulge to the lower right section of her right nipple? is that a tumor or something? and does the other girl have it as well?

ugh...does that help explain why we all have such a disliking of these...things? they look all wrong except for the dude but that could simply be the uncanny valley effect...that tends to draw a focus to imperfections which are usually found in the facial region of character models so it might be a problem there.

i mean, with uncanny valley, a character model could look perfectly normal but something will still feel wrong when you look at it. that's probably all his problem is.

Hello! I am the developer and would also like to thank @treos and the others in this thread that gave feedback. Also a big thanks to @Zippity for his honest review.

I made the models the way they are because I find them aesthetically pleasing. Nothing more to it than that, really. What looks good to one person doesn't necessarily look good to another, it's very subjective.

I am currently working on version 0.2 and after I got a lot of feedback on the shortness of 0.1 I'll triple the content for 0.2 instead of doubling it, like I initially planned.

I'm still interested in more feedback, so certainly keep it coming.

This is my first effort in game making. My first time writing code, posing models, rendering, etc. It's all completely new to me. I'm in it for the long haul. I'll work hard on this game to make it the best I can make it. I'll certainly improve my skills as I am developing.

Making an adult game has been a dream of mine for a long time and I'll give it my all to make it a reality. I still hope I'll get some more people excited for my vision and that there will be a dedicated following for Orionide. After all, I'm making a game that would appeal to me if I had nothing to do with it and I am sure that there are others with the same tastes as me. It's just about finding them. And what do you know, my patreon actually appealed to someone enough to make them pledge and follow the project. I hope that this trajectory will continue, as I find it immensely satisfying to work on this game. I'd like to do it for quite a while! Patreon support and feedback from players makes that a reality.
