I'm at a point in the game where you meet Ruby for the first time and the game tells you to look around the apartment to make sure that you don't forget anything, but I can't find anything to take. Am I missing something?

I have a few issues. Lack of animation is annoying, but I can deal with that. The phone doesn't seem to have any of the functionality working yet. I can check howe much gold I have and that's about it. There is no quest tracker, so I have no idea what I need to do unless it explicitly says in the dialogue, which is not always the case. Inline with that problem is no way of know when you have completed the current content, because if you don't know what to do next, how do you know if there is anything to do next. Whenever I downloan an update, all of my saves make the game crash and I have to start a new game.

If I am the only person experiencing these issues, I would be very grateful to know how to get round them or what I am doing wrong.
