This is really up to interpretation -- "get yourself off for me with this item" is very much still exercising control over the person and their actions. I don't mind recycling scenes like EK has done with Mike, Mark, Robert, and Ian where the scenes are mutually exclusive and between different but similar looking people.
I personally don't like the use of reusing scenes for the same character in the same route. It takes me out of the scenes. It can be good where it makes sense like the ass eating with Cindy, but when most major renders are the same as the previous Cindy scenes with minor clothing changes it kills the scene.
I do hope the beach event will have unique pairings and scenes that require new drawings to be made, because I feel every scene this update had reused drawings. (Except Jess scene)

Jess's scene occurs after seeing her at the mall, she sends you a text asking if she can come to your house, if you say yes, she goes and the scene can happen. For that to happen you have to be on good terms with her. It is possible that if you are using the first version published this bug, EK fixed it a few hours later. Regarding the gallery, it is not fixed at the moment

I thought the championship was going to be the same as the fight scenes we've had so far, practically just text telling us what's going on, but no, each choice generates a new scene. On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of reusing the same scenes with the same character (Cheryl).
I know it's a bit frustrating that more than half of the renders are only of the fights, but we still have the rest of the chapter and anyone who is only going to play the final version will spend at least a few hours playing the new complete chapter.
It seems that the new type of release is: epilogue + chapter + prologue.

IIRC the cheat mode you can activate when starting a new game will max out skills of both protagonists, which also allows to pass a number of skill checks without having to spend a will point.

As I understand it the new release schedule is actually: Epilogue -> Chapter part 1 -> Chapter part 2 -> Epilogue. Eva was talking about splitting the chapter itself up into separate Ian and Lena parts.

I think this is more of a submission thing (given that the other way to enable it is for Ian to be dominant in their relationship). Alison being a little older generally seems to treat Ian as someone who should follow her lead, but if he leaves her wanting for long enough or figuratively fucks her brains out, she comes to accept that Ian is the person who wears pants in this relationship and she is his fucktoy to do with as he pleases.
Like, on the blonde path Ian can outright call her a bimbo and she'll just take it. The only point where she tries to make an objection (but still folds) is anal sex, and that's only because it's genuinely too painful for her, apparently.

If you want proof of baby-trapping, look no further than how she treats sex with Jeremy compared to Ian. Jeremy has never cum inside, and it's because she doesn't let him. She sees him as fuck buddy, and the baby-trap method won't work on him anyway. With Ian on the other hand, whenever he does it, even after she gets upset, she somehow gets over it almost immediately and says "what's done is done". Why? Why is it suddenly ok? And did she really take the pill afterwards, or is that what she wants Ian to think?
This faster release schedule is a much better change of pace. Reducing scope and structuring the story like this should help with writer's block as well.
Maybe because it's just like she says, what's done is done and complaining about it any further than she already did isn't going to change a thing? Not to mention i don't think EK would really expect the player to sit through extra few pages of nagging about it.
Also, we don't actually know if Alison wouldn't react similarly if Jeremy had accident like that. It's not necessarily Ian being special, it could just as well be Alison being practical in general.

I force rollback to make it easier on myself, get as many points as I can in round one, game still tells me I am losing at start of round 2 same result no matter what I do, never a choice where I just win a point. This is with 10 athletics btw.
This whole update was disappointing tbh. Lost the plot this game has. I'd rather wait for a full update none of this 1 scene crap
