I meant Ivy as a potential LI who could make Lena a cuckquean or as a potential "evil" female character, not as an antagonist to Ian. To what you said, I'll just add that she shows an increasing interest in a chad Ian, we'll see if that goes somewhere like many want here or not.I don't think I'd agree Ivy has the potential to be a serious threat to Ian. Sure, she outs Ian as cheating with Cindy to Lena (if a player's Ian is cheating) but that seems to have a lot more to do with Ivy's anger towards Cindy over the Wildcats contract. If I remember correctly, the extent of Ivy being antagonistic to Ian without the Cindy situation is a fairly mild "Well, you seem to be sexing this Ian guy a lot, Lena, are you really sure you don't want to play the field?" (I'm paraphrasing, but I think that's pretty much it, even if Ivy and Lena do their own horizontal mambo.) And if Ian is with Holly, I don't think Ivy notices him much at all, partly because in that scenario, Ivy never gets a chance to corrupt Holly and the most Holly is to her is this shy nerd at the gym Lena is friends with. (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on any of that.)
Wade and Perry are not serious enemies because what can they do?. Wade can get aggresive and get his ass kicked and Perry can kick him out of the appartment, but Ian can move in together with Cindy or with some other option or just go living by himself. Ian moving out seems like something that might happen regardless of his relationship with Cindy and Perry/Wade.I also think part of why Ian doesn't have a strong enemy is they're either waiting in the wings (I'm thinking of Seymour and the book contest, and/or Wade and possibly also Perry depending on how the affair with Cindy shakes out) or it's simply that Eva doesn't have as much story for Ian as she thought she would have. Somewhere in the Q&As she says one protagonist is easier to write for than the other, and she doesn't name names, but looking at how much Lena content vs. Ian content there is in chapter 11, it seems obvious which one Eva is more interested in lately.
I think the most serious potential threats for Ian are clearly Axel and Seymour and maybe Gillian/her boyfriend on a path where Ian doesn't get over her. Axel is an adversary on Cindy and Lena's paths and could also be the one to start the Cindy shitstorm with Wade, Perry and the rest. If he doesn't know for sure about Ian and Cindy, he at least has a strong suspicion. And his relationship with Seymour seems to be heading on to a conflict between Ian's morals/principles and his career. In Ian's most succesful career-wise playthrough, he works for Seymour and he's looking forward to winning a literary contest sponsored by Seymour. The questions are: what will Seymour ask from Ian? (specially on a path where Lena rejects Seymour) and will Ian be able to deny Seymour and still achieve his dream to be a professional writer?. We'll see how the story goes but there is good potential for conflict there.
